Someone mentioned (think it was Essex Girl) on shabby chic thread today about getting free swatch samples from John Lewis - I think its great! Ive just ordered some now, and also found a few other sites that offer free swatches - you all prob know about this anyway - was just excited! Has anyone made anything from swatches received? Someone mentioned that some can be so small that you cant use them for anything....i was thinking of making little purses or something small like that for my niece to play with if nothing else.

Speaking of small swatch samples, I made this today,its the first thing I have sewn for ages and think may also now have the bug for sewing as well as shabby chic-ing thanks to all you wonderfully creative people

Oh dear - just discovered a new hobby - and NOT craft related!

if you go to the top of your blog & click "next blog" you get to have a nose at someone elses world. WARNING if you are a nosy parker it can be very addictive!

I don't sew myself but my mother did for a long time and funnily enough so does the girlfriend so I just wanted to show off ;o))) here is a sexy little number in silk with hand made flowers.



Sadly it is to be shortened and turned in to a top soonish........ ;o)))

I bet you can get some random blogs doing that. I like to click on links on other peoples blogs and then click on their links, and so on. Hours later I've discovered loads of interesting blogs and done nothing constructive.
