Happy to report that my DD's birthday presents arrived yesterday. So hubby quickly wrapped them for me as I was on a course he wrapped jiffy bags an all lol. We surprised her by taking her out to tea then giving her the pressies. She was so pleased I must say the zhu zhu hamsters are funny and squeak a lot much to the amazement of our four 'real' pets ( 2 cats & 2 dogs).

I love everything you have all been making lately so much I want to do but seems like so little time. Plus the fact that everyone seems to be getting into blogging. I am on a swimming teachers course till Monday luckily have Sunday off so that I can bake cake etc and organise DD's party for that day. Then hopefully few days off then another course gain hopefully this time to teach pre-schoolers.

I am also now in paid employment just a few hours a week to begin with. We have just had a soft play area put into an unused building here, it all looks fab, so I will be doing a couple of shifts there.

Oh thanks to all my blog followers.....7 followers in one day - I feel almost popular :D

Love that beach bag Tina - I'd love to make more bags but I'm just not a bag person.....you'd think having 2 DD's would help but nope, they don't really do bags either.

I had a new pattern arrive this week - I can't remember who/where/when I saw the finished products (but I'm sure it was on here somewhere) but I just had to order it..it's a MaCalls, Cyntiha Rose Cat Family...they are so pretty and I aim to make them for everyone for Christmas (whether they want it or not!) I'm itching to get started but I've been sofa bound with sciatica for the past 2 days (hence having the time to start a blog)

Those bunk beds are great - I wish mine were young enough to buy them things like that.

Good job on the bunk beds, and the ruffle top is gorgeous. My girls aren't girly enough to wear anything like that. It would be like I had put brussel sprouts on their plate.

    i've finally finished.

i know it not perfect, but i love it. i bought a bundle of scrap material off cuts from ebay and used them to make this. i used 2oz wadding as a thin padding. It very hard to photo as it so long and i can't see to get a good angle unless i go outside and take photo through the window, lol.

i am thinking i could use the same principle to make a baby play mat as we have a few babies due in our family this year.
