Wow ladies some great makes over the last few days
Kandi love the keyring do you have a tutorial ( a dummy's guide lol!)
Dinah a fantastic dress how annoying that it doesn't fit but i love the fabric and it looks brill.

Danables my little girl who is also 4 would love those clothes. Do you have a link to any tutorials/instructions for them?

Here is some pics of the padded sleeping bag that i made for my little girls dolly with carry handles and removable pillow. I used some fabric kindly donated ny a lady off freecycle.

    Vicki, love your apron!
    Kandi, your charm is great!
    Dinah, really like your dress!

You are all putting me to shame as I havent been motivated to do anything for a few weeks now.
Anyway, I was offered a job this morning which I accepted so hopefully that will make me a bit
more upbeat and motivated! Its full time (used to work part time) so wont have as much time
to do stuff but am really pleased in any case. Hopefully will get round to making something
    over next week or so.

Excellent News Pootle i'm so pleased for you and really glad you have managed to find something:j

Thanks to everyone who commented, its so nice to have feedback and praise and it inspires me to carry on. I have really appreciated seeing all of your makes aswell, its nice to see what everyone can come up with. Im just a copier- not to good at inventing my own stuff- it takes me so long just to decide on which fabric to choose that will go with whatever im trying to coordinate it with.

shaz_mum_of_2 this is the tutorial for the pin cushion http://www.bhg.com/crafts/sewing/projects/wild-flower-pincushion/

The pattern for the lazy days skirt is from oliver +s, its very easy it can be found here:http://www.oliverands.com/downloads/Oliver+SLazyDaysSkirt.pdf

Thanks for the tutorial kandipandi I will definitely have a look. Im not sure how to join blogs. I have a lot stored in my favourites on my laptop and cant seem to get the hang of doing it any other way- if anyone can explain please do!

danables - feedback is nice isn't it, it's the reason I created my blog to get my bum in gear!
I was the same as you with blogs, but the easiest way to follow all the blogs you like it to set yourself up in blogger, you don't have to create a blog as such but you will be able to subscribe to the blogs you like and you get a reading list which shows all the updates of the blogs you follow as they happen.

no Shaz the ribbon dosnt show on the underside. You attach it on the wrong side of the fabric about half an inch from the hem and when you stitch on the what looks like the top edge to the wrong side you then turn the ribbon so that it becomes the bottom edge on the right side of the fabric... the raw edge then become encased between the ribbon and the front of the skirt leaving a nice tidy finish does that make sence?
