The piping you use for cushion covers etc, is it the same stuff you use on clothes?
Thanks

Ive never done clothes with piping but this might help you. It has a bit under heading of materials that tells you what you need. Sorry I cant be more help.

Kandi,
did you get my e-mail? Its not showing in my sent items which it normally would and as my computer been playing up for months I thought I best check if it went or not.....0 -
I`ve made my very first piped cushion cover and love it. The fabric cost me £3 from local market.
I learnt how to do the piping after watching a youtube video.0 -

For my circles I drew around a cardboard circle and then cut the fabric with my rotary cutter, freehand but following the line I had drawn with disappearing ink.maybe, Kandi, but i'm going away for a week next thurs and before then i need to finish that waitstcoat i've been agonising over, want to finish a Xstitch for Bubbles April Challenge, and need to make at least one other raven for my friends shop, and finish cutting 50 fabric squares for a charm quilt swap. busy busy busy! So I'll say i'll do the quilt next month!?!
i've been having trouble with my rotary cutter - it doesnt cut fully and i end up having to snip through bits with scisors... does anyone know if it can get it sharpened or even sharpen it myself (mu OH has a whet stone for his axe), or do i need to buy a new one?:(Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -

Wow, you have a lot on! For the rotary cutter, you can buy replacement blades quite reasonable, the cutter I just bought came with three spare blades included and its really easy to take apart and replace them, not sure if yours does though. You would have nothing to lose by trying to sharpen the one you have though, if it's no use as it is just try it ~ or better still give it to other half to do for you!You can stand there and agonize........

Morning everyone
Everyones been busy I see.
Hart ~ the bag is fab! Any sign of your new blog yet?
Pootle ~ have you made your bag yet?
Well today I'm finally going to get around to making the altered handles 1 hour bag! (children permitting of course!)
I'm struggling a bit with the new handle idea though, can anyone tell me which way I position the hadle when I sew the lining and bag together? I can picture me sewing it up with the handle going the wrong way lol!0
