I got 2 soap making kits one for my 40th which was in Oct and one for Christmas have not had chance to do anything with them, but i think i will leave it till later in the year. I got some nice teacups and saucers to make candles in them, but did not get round to that neither so need to get those done. May try to get them done for mothers day. Hi
Like others on this thread I would like to make my children teddies this year. I have been looking for a good online site that offers a free pattern. Simple and traditional. I have found a good site on EBay, a fabric merchant that sells bags of off cuts. I have contacted them and they can send a bag just of teddy fur off cuts, so all I need now is the pattern? Any ideas please?0 -
oh Stardrops!
Can you not do a bit on your lunchbreak? I used to embroider, said it was for relaxation...;)
I also took 'fresh air breaks' this was before smoking ban, everyone else smoked! I told them i was going out to get away from their smell!:rotfl::rotfl:Loving the sunny days!0 -

stardrops, I had a quick peak at your blog and love the baby gift set. You say that you found the tutorial on the net,,,may I ask where? I am quite new to sewing, but there are quite a few babies making an appearance in our family at the moment and I'd love to make them something like this....
thanks!:heart2::heart2:On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur :heart2::heart2:we're debt freeeeeeeeeeeee....FREEEEDOM!!! :j:T0 -
Well got the sewing machine out, after about 10 years and all the knobs confused me :eek: Had to pay £5 to get a copy of the instructions but the good enws now is found out what all the other bits are for lol
It does button holes, sews on bottons, hems. and has a quilting attachment and does loads of zig zag thingsI had enough trouble getting the new needle into it lol
I used and old pillowcase, very inventice I know , and not have remembered how to use the machine , well for basic sewing anyway.
So all I need to figure out now is how to get material in nice neat squares lolTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -
