stardrops, I had a quick peak at your blog and love the baby gift set. You say that you found the tutorial on the net,,,may I ask where? I am quite new to sewing, but there are quite a few babies making an appearance in our family at the moment and I'd love to make them something like this....
thanks!
Hi
I went on this site http://www.makeforbaby.com/directory.php?directory=Toy it has loads and loads of things to make for babies, I thought it was really good. The blanket was based on the first one of these 3 blankets(click on blankets) http://sew4home.com/projects/bed-linens/358-stylish-baby-nursery-the-three-blankets but it's not exactly the same. I altered size, fabrics etc. The taggy toy(click on toys) here http://www.newconceptions.com/patpdf/TagToyspdf.pdf
For the little bunny thing I just drew it freehand on a piece of paper then cut it out, zigzagged a circle of fabric on the front before I stuffed it, then hand stitched the bottom shut, oh and sewed on some eyes and a nose:D Sorry I'm not very good at writing instructions, hope I haven't confused you too much:oFeb GC £80 per week (Well I'm gunna try:whistle:)

How on Earth did I miss this???
I had a sewing machine for about 8 years and I used it twice to make capes & some really awful tab top curtains.
I am loving sewing so much now. I also joined the ShabbyChicCafe which is an extension of here. I learnt so much from those ladies, it's unbelievable.
Now I am making loads of stuff. My blog is here and has tonnes of stuff that I have made.

I haven't updated it recently as I have been so busy with Christmas and the like.
I managed 5 lined shopping bags from a Lidls single duvet cover plus a union jack cushion, several sunglass cases and some diary covers.
Charity shops are a fantastic source for fabric, old curtains, duvet covers etc. Even new ones when they are in a sale are fabtastic.0 -
