I am spending so long following threads, reading bit and bobs on the net, that i am not sewing!! Oh dear, thats not how it was supposed to be. I am going to have to limit my followings. sorry ladies. But its getting daft!.
I will have to just try and read the thread, and not the blogs etc etc etc. Or I will never sew again.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi
I'm going to 'make' some thermal lined curtains. (I have a sewing machine that is still in its box.:rotfl::rotfl:)
I haven't sewn for years so it should be fun.

Hi Mooloo,
I was wondering where you were. Good to hear from you. Hope everything going ok with grandchildren and the twins. Hope you have time to sew again soon, your stuff is so nice. Would be such a waste if you dont get time to do it. Take care. x0 -

Well I have made the bag:T It is my first other project other than a sock monkey. I have to agree with sunshine12 though, the strap looks awful, really awkward!
Anyway I'm still pleased I managed it and will post photos in a min.0 -
Right here goes! Please give your honest opinions guys, I need the constructive criticism to learn lol!
Just to add I just realised that I forgot to top stitch around the top of the bag lol!0 -
Fruit Loop ~ your bag looks fantastic! Tha material is lovely too.
I can't see much of the detail as I can't get your pics any larger but from what I can see, :T well done :T.
Thought you ladies might be interested in this;
Craft Fairs
I found some crafty events that I was rather excited about and would love to attend. These events are in the North East of England, so I apologise in advance to those people for whom this is too far away.
I thought it might be good to have a nosey to see what people are selling and borrow some ideas! Also, once I have given away my bits and bobs as birthday and christmas presents I hope to have a stash left over that I could sell on, so thought I would check out their stalls and displays and prices etc.
If you are interested I have posted the places and times on my blog (hover over my name, link to my homepage) as I am unsure about posting them here (is it advertising?!).
Do you know if there is a craft fair directory anywhere, that would include the North East of England, I would be interested to see that. You can stand there and agonize........

It looks fantastic. The material is lovely, and what I particularly like is that you've used a white lining inside - isn't it annoying on bought bags when they have a black lining, so it's difficult to see what's inside?
Sorry, you've probably mentioned it before, but do you have a link to the pattern?0 -
Hi Fruitloop
(its Sunshine, I changed my name) Your bag looks really good! I like the fabric alot. Re the handles, I cant really see them properly in the picture but definately looks better than mine did! I was thinking that if anyone else felt same about handles and was going to give it a try you could just stitch them between the lining and main fabric so they dont look as awkward. Well done Fruitloop. Really like it!
Justamum here is the tute.
