Well Iv done it! Iv bought a new sewing machine! Or rather my husband and inlaws have bought me one which is supposed to be a surprise for my Birthday next month but my husband wanted me to choose it myself so after A LOT of research and there is a lot out there I went for this one
http://www.sewingmachines.co.uk/brotherbc2100_info.htm it come with 7 different feet and a free thread and sewing set worth £115 (hmm bet its not worth quite that much!) its computerised which I find a little scarey but after reading this review http://www.ciao.co.uk/Brother_BC2100_Sewing_Machine__Review_5848522 it looks pretty good, and i think there is enough on it to keep me progressing. It was also trialed on which magazine - i dont know how well it did (i need to be a member) but the fact that it got as far as that suggests it must have been put forward as a reputable one. (im hoping)
so what do you think? does it look ok? Really hope iv done the right thing and it wasnt completely slated by Which magazine (worries) not surer when itll arrive but Ill have to wait till the 24th to open it in any case.0 -
Danables, I bet you are really excited!
This has similar functions to my Brother and I love mine! Its so easy to thread (I love the top loading bobbin) and the feet are really easy to change etc. It also holds material really well. I think it looks great!!!:smileyhea0 -
