Good luck with the sofa Mooloo, I would love to do mine in patchwork but it wouldnt go in our room. I need to recover the seat and back cushions on mine, when i did it a couple of years ago I didnt like the fabric that came for the cushions, the outer bit is fine, just the cushions need changing. I need to get new foam for the seat cushions too as what we have is all squashed.

Been making a few felt key rings for the stall on Saturday, had great plans to get some more bits done so I can take some new stock but it all went out the window.

I would use the white/cream as my dividing strips whatever is the background of yours cannot tell from photo and for the border too and then the red coloured fabric as my binding or add two borders the first cream/white then the red fabric then the binding looks good well done

I'm having a go at either no 1 or no 3 of these when I've finished the dress I'm working on.

another child's birthday party today for DGD to go too. So I have quickly run up a policeman tabbard for him. An impulse purchase of some pre printed fabric last year has been a little gem of a buy. For £5 there was 9 little outfits. Two have sold as well. But it means another present that hasnt dented the bank. 55p is cheaper then a card, and i even got that for free as my mum made one.

Does anyone know a good Sewing machine repair place in Glasgow - I have a Toshiba but it is not picking up the bottom thread from the spool.
