Lucky you :) where was the show? What basting spray do you use? I've got a twin size quilt to baste and not sure which way to do it. I've used a mix of safety pins and long stitches on my previous smaller quilts.

Its called 505 I've never tried it before so I'll let you know how it goes but all the quilting stalls were selling it. The show was at the nec in Birmingham

I have just layered a larger quilt using 505 for the first time and am now stitching it. The quilt is approx. 50''x66'' and the 505 is holding it together really well, much better than pinning or basting it. Well worth the money.

This little house is smaller than you think. Good size for a paperweight or to hold fabric whilst cutting.
I have made 18 but the other need finishing.

I use rice, lentils or cat litter to weight the bottoms winnie.

Just finished the hand sewing on this as OH has been sleeping after nightshift.

This is a Quilting & Sewing group thing called Whispers (as in Chinese Whispers)
First person is shown a picture and interprets it in fabric.
Takes a picture and emails to the next person who does the same.
We all keep what we make, which are wall hangings.
I only said I would do it as it's down to interpretation so no right and wrong icon_e_wink.gif
No way can I compete with all the quilters so I'm so pleased we keep what we make. icon_lol.gif

Thats lovely, I have a box full of ties, was going to make another bag out of them but have been unable to sell the first one.
  • There is a tv show starting in April - the Great British Sewing Bee (like Bake Off) - I'm sadly excited to see it!
As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again
