I am not at all technically minded I'm afraid and for some reason my pictures keep disapearing. I am trying them again the way Hart suggested. Here's hoping it works this time.

That is fabulous! and just my colours (my "going out" clothes are nearly always red & black) Was it you that had to make lots of adjustments a few pages back or is that made straight from the packet? I have a generous bust & it is making all the adjustments that has put me off making stuff for myself up till now.

Those of you that were followers of my blog, did you find out here or on my blog, about my new address?? Most of my followers are from here but I have also picked up a few on the way & not sure if I have lost those or not.

And Hart - I love that bag, I bought a couple of patterns in her "retiring" sale and thought that I had that one but I dont. I bought the multi-pocket tote instead.

I am working on another quilt atm for my Mums's 60th and I also have this months "Sewing for boys"sew a long project to do. It is a pair of trackie bottoms. I have been looking for some large tracksuit bottoms/tops in the charity shops As I don't really want to spend more on fabric than a pair would cost in the shops - they are only trackie bottoms. However, someone on the flickr group pool has posted a pair that she made with cotton fabric rather than knit, so I think I have something in my stash that I could use.

    Happy sewing!
  • Hi Tamster - yes, it was me who had to do all the fiddling and adjusting of the pattern because of my (ahem) generous proportions (GG or H cup:eek:) but actually, once I got my head round it, it was quite straightforward.
Justamum posted a link to a couple of places showing how to do the alterations and I certainly wouldn't be worried about having to do it again.
The only thing that was a bit tedious was that I had to adjust it several times so had to keep re-making a "mock-up" until I got it right.

Ah so I think I have lost my other followers :(
  • Ooh lots of lovely pics to inspire.
Have just bought the Hyundai 8 stitch sewing machine reduced at P*undstretcher. Have read a few rubbish reviews about it but to be honest as long as it sews in a straight line I'll be happy.
I might get as good as you guys with a bit of practise :)

Am I being dumb in not knowing what an Amelie bag is? Could you describe it and show it?

Also, what is your blog address? I would love a read!
  • formaldehyde_perfume, I think this is the Amelie bag here http://romanianquiltstudio.com/english/bag-patterns.htm
