Wow Bobbykin :D the dress is beautiful :D Well done :T

I forgot to add in photobucket you can resize the pic's :o

When I click on my pic in PB it opens it upi and a little bar at the top of the pic comes up (it sometimes takes a while) 2nd one in says resize. I always do mine at medium.

If more help is needed I will try and explain it a bit better :o

I have done my 3 hours at work and now have the rest of the wk off (I love working in a school :D) so will play catch up with all the sewing projects Ive had going around in my head :D
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

    Hi peeps

I have changed the address of my little blog. Those of you that "follow" me will have to subscribe to the new address. although all my followers still appear on my blog so I have no idea if you are still able to "see" me or not.

I had to follow you again but it was no probs xx

Mooloo the booties sound lovely. I agree with you that making them by hand would take a lot of effort and would indeed heft the price up.

I still havent got round to sewing. I have ordered some comic strip fabrics from Ebay seller to make a cushion for YD's BF for his birthday next month as he is well into Marvel comics. Thought it would be nice for his room.

I used a Keyka Lou http://keyka.typepad.com/ half moon pattern as she had them reduced a while back (think it's been discontinued now :()
I love her patterns as they are so easy to use :D this bag looks small but it does hold a bit as I made one for my xmas do and I brought home lots of ribbon and bits off the posh crackers in it :rotfl:
I subscribed to Keyka's emails so I get all her new patterns and sales :D but I have had to sort them into a file as I found I had brought 2 of the same pattern from her :o

    Wow lotsof lovely makes!

Bobbykins - your dress is gorgeous!
Eddi, wow that was your first project, its amazing!
Hart, love you bag, the fabric is lovely

And Tamster, I'm now following you again

Haven't had much time for sewing recently and I'll be starting a new job soon so might be a while before I do, once I'm settled in hopefully I can get back to it.

In the meantime I made a make-up brush roll from some faux leather a friend gave me. More pics and a tutorial on my bloggie. The faux leather was OK to work with but I really do need to invest in a Teflon foot.

Thanks avstar ... It was a baptism of fire and I spent a lot of time doing this --> :wall: lol

I love your brush roll. What a great idea :)

Hart the bag is lovely. I love unusual material. My first thought is always "aha! I'll make a cushion!" lol I've never thought to make a bag. I've got an old Levi's denim jacket that doesn't fit anymore and the collar is coming away so I can't really fleabay or charity shop it so I've been wondering what I could make out of it? Maybe I could make a bag and line it with something nice. Hmmm

Oh, I do love a nice bag and that is gorgeuos Hart!

I got inspired by a the Amelie bag on this thread a while ago and that's what re-started me sewing. I've made quite a few of the Amelie bag now for friends/relatives - unfortunately didn't take any pictures of them, but they are addictive.

Actually, I did make one for myself so may take a picture of that to show you later.

ETA - Eddi - I picked that necklace up last year in Peacocks. It was just an inexpensive bit of bling but I really love it and have had lots of wear out of it - it goes with almost anything.
