Happy New Year to all my fellow sewers! I have been sewing this afternoon, just the flap for my ipad case today as I have had family, both mine and the inlaws round today taking up most of my morning and afternoon......not good when you plan a day of 'me time'!! ahh well, it was lovely to see them.

I finished off the cushion someone had ordered, need to wait for her to buy it now. I made up another Kindle case too for the shop and have a couple more cut out which I will make up tomorrow.

I was trying to find some more fabric with lettering on like words, they have some newspaper ones on Ebay but I wanted more hand written kind but cant seem to find any on any of the FQ sites, well I dont know what to search for to find it, I have tried script and words etc. If anyone sees any would you let me know please. I bought the last bit I used at a craft fair.

Hi everyone and Happy New Year, I've just come across this thread and am hoping to pick brains about all sorts of things. Am just getting back into sewing after a long absence and using my old dodgy Singer machine until I can save up enough for a new machine. Have recently made a couple of cuddle cozys for DD's guinea pigs but getting excited about making a couple of bags to start with and then move on to skirts and dresses etc. Hope to chat more soon
