Yes I use a computer chair that i can adjust. Picked it up in Help the Aged charity store in MK for £10. Bit stained, and mean to cover it, but nobody else goes into to den of fabrics so it doesnt really matter. I would call it a work room, but at the moment I can hardly move to get in there. There is just far too much stuff! And since my decorations course last weekend, the dining room table is completely covered with things as is the 3 chairs around it too!! ah hem! I think I know what I will have to do this coming week when dGD is at nursery!. organise!!! Eek.

Thanks! I have just posted some more wedding bits.

Mooloo it was really easy to make the hardest part was faffing with the wires! I got very annoyed doing that and took it apart several times because it wasn't 'right' lol. I don't miss the stress!

  • I sit to sew at the dinner table on a dining chair. Good height and nice straight back so encourages me to sit properly.

Stuffed a couple more Xmas trees this morning and done a bit of knitting, though still not back up to speed at all yet.

Exciting news: my new sewing machine came today, and it is wonderful!! :j:j

I have only read the manual so far, not up to playing with it yet, so it is back in its box until my birthday on Monday :A! Planning lots of projects to do with it...might even catch up on making a number of decorations for the fairs...much faster with the machine rather than handsewing, once I work out how to use it ofcourse :rotfl:!!

Need to get to bed soon....having a meal out with the family tomorrow.

Have a great Sunday everyone xx

Excellent. Have a lovely day tomorrow and enjoy playing with your machine. I still have to keep the manual handy as bits of information seem to fall out of my head these days and I need to refer to it every now and again!

Had my machine for so long, moved house that many times that I no longer have the book. Wish I did as sometimes I really wish I knew what else it would do. Spend far too much time on the laptop looking at other things, and not sitting at my sewing machine and making things, or experimenting.
Tried to make a Bell decoration yesterday but the fabric was wrong, it frayed and it had layers I wasnt aware of that seperated just when I didnt want it too.
DGD has the buttons all over the floor! I was going to see about sorting some of them out into sets, but there really is not much point as she just messes them all up again. Some have been glued to a box today, as her treasure!. She is a pirate captain apparantly and the buttons are the treasure at the bottom of the sea!. Great imagination, but such a mess.
On the plus side I have managed to be up without the TV on, just the radio, since 7.30!
