I've just been catching up, nice to have new members - welcome!

I'm loving all the bags and the apron.
Pennib I've never tried felting but that looks very nice.

I made a bag the other day from jeans

I'm feeling brave (or stupid maybe?). I'm goign to attempt to make a cosytoes/footmuff for my son's pushchair. He needs one anyway but the ones I have seen are either boring or expensive. Customised ones can cost £68 on one site, eeek! I can't sew too well and I have no idea how to sew zips in but I will mock one up soon before I try the real thing.

Everything I see that people have made on this thread looks really professional, so well done everyone.

The best cozy toes i had, had a zip down the middle not around the sides. When out in town I could easily unzip the middle when inside shops & then zip it up again to go outside. Much more practical than traditional ones. I imagine much easier to make at home, as you just need to insert the zip straight & not try and get it around a curve.

Lovely apron Polly. My daughter would like a cupcake one. Well done on be-frilling it (is that a word if not it should be :rotfl:)

Avstar Those are well trendy scissors. Do they cut out as well as they look :D

Here is some felting that I did over a year ago. No idea what to do with it now! I am going to do some free hand embroidery over the top of it eventually. It's about 12x 8 I think so not a big piece. The hearts are a more reddy/pink than pinky/pink if you see what I mean.

how about turning it into a needle book? store all your needles and pins in it :) and felt wont let them rust either :) x
