Long time lurker, but I rarely post here (sorry). Love all your makes though. I wanted to share the apron I made today. Didn't think I'd be able to do ruffles, but I did and I'm very proud!

Yes I echo that its a lovely apron, well done.!
On another note, Keiss, yes I have recieved a Tens machine now, and it did make a huge difference. Will be putting it back on again after dinner too!.
Still not sewing though. Getting so frustrated.

  • Thank you both :). Now that I know I can do it, I think I might have to be-frill everything that isn't nailed down!!

  • Thank you very much. I took the pattern from Better Homes and Gardens. I had to register before it would let me see it though! It was pretty easy although some bits (the purple gingham bits in mine) were sewn 'backwards' and although I could see why, it was still a bit weird doing it that way, having never done it before! I tinkered with the pattern a bit too, but not too much. :)

Lovely apron Polly. My daughter would like a cupcake one. Well done on be-frilling it (is that a word if not it should be :rotfl:)

Avstar Those are well trendy scissors. Do they cut out as well as they look :D

Here is some felting that I did over a year ago. No idea what to do with it now! I am going to do some free hand embroidery over the top of it eventually. It's about 12x 8 I think so not a big piece. The hearts are a more reddy/pink than pinky/pink if you see what I mean.
