Pogie - the bag is lovely. I've tried to comment on your blog but mine account is messing about and won't let me comment  I was going to suggest fabric storage boxes from the curtain material?

I've seen tutorials online (never made any myself) and sure I've seen some on this thread too. It's somethng I want to make but haven't found the right fabric yet.
You could do cushion covers? They're much easier.

I echo the good wishes to your father in law Rufus.
I have yet another order for a wallet to match the set of things I had made for Molly. The only problem is I had another set back yesterday and was not able to sew. I wasnt able to do much actually. I ended up going to bed during the day, and then again was in bed at 7.30 last night. Although I was up and around at 4am! Having a cyber chat with Molly who also couldnt sleep. I am hoping to try and sew this morning. Or I will probably loose my orders.
I hope the craft fairs go well Hart.
I need to find another outlet if I get sewing properly again, as the shop I used to showcase them in has gone to a jewellry shop now, new owner is a man who was not interested in my stuff. Actually tore up my contact details etc infront of me! So embarassing.
Right happy sewing everyone. I am really missing mine.!

What a horrible man! If he's like that you are better off not having to deal with him, but there really was no need to end your contract in such a nasty way. I'm sure you'll find a new outlet soon.
Oh dear, here we go again.

Blimey Mooloo - can't see him being in business for long, what a horrible man. He won't be able to hide such a nasty personality and customers will run a mile!

Thanks Hart - yes those were the kind of thing I meant - I'd seen a couple of those tutorials but great to have a list of them in one place. Have bookmarked it.

Mooloo, if I were in your area, I'd go to the shop, faff around and then say I wasn't buying anything from such a rude man. But I'm in Yorkshire, so I can't ;)
  • anyone use pinterest?
I have just started and it is fab! I can now keep all my links in one, organised place instead of cluttering up the pc with bookmarks!

Only problem is that I am having problems with my "pin it" button. I am using firefox and have the "noscript" app, which I think is causing all the problems. When I try to pin something (Using the pin it button on my toolbar), i just get a javascript message across the bottom of the page. ANyone know how to fix it??? There is no advice on the pinterest site.
