Morning,
Havent got the tens machine as yet. But hoping to get it in the post in a few days. Just communicating about that now.
DGD is a grumpy bum today. She stayed awake late. I think it was exciting being at her grandads. I am hoping to do some organising of my work area, and take up the material etc thats lurking down here. I have masses of bits of Cath Kidston stuff. But I am trying to think of something different to do with them, other then bags, cushions and hearts! Bit stumped at the moment.!
Maybe some childrens clothes. We will see. But its sorting out and I have the orders to start on before I can play around.
Will have to do it in small stages though. Dont want to overdo it.
Well done on the bags Hart, I find it much easier to make in "production line" mode.
Happy sewing everyone. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I buy my needles in the supermarket or wilkinsons when I am passing. They are the more general ones. If I need a ballpoint one then I will send away for them. I have used Croft Mills for them before now.
Still not managed to get up into the sewing room. Lunch now, DGD due back with my helper, so I may manage a bit this afternoon. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I'd definitely try charity shops, they are generally about 50p a pair. You have to ask for them though as they are not allowed to have them out.Oh dear, here we go again.0

I dont know about the range, as have never been to one, but fabricland is by far the cheapest place (other than online) to buy fabric & habby bits round here.
and i often buy machine needles from there. Just tell them what you are making so you can get the right sixe.0 -

Have you got a Lidl nr you? They've got sewing stuff in at the mo inc machine needles. Other than that I go to the local market or buy online.
Tamster - well done on winning the book - looks like fab projects in there :j

Whose seen my tape measure ? It's bright yellow, 300cm long and was wound up in a coil last time I saw it.
Found it. :j
It was in a clear plastic box which I'd put together to take to the caravan for running repairs. It was just sat on the table next to my sewing machines.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
