    I found this http://www.which.co.uk/home-and-garden/laundry-and-cleaning/reviews/sewing-machines/brother-ls2125/review/

My 1st machine was a basic Tesco one which was great for my 1st year of sewing but I changed to a Brother at christmas and it has been great for beginners too but does more stitches.

This might help to start with :D
I know my fellow sewers will be along today to help as well :D
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Love the bag Hart, the lining fabric is gorgeous!
Chocolate, the phone holders are fab.

Dancing Butterfly , it's upto you really, you could buy a cheapish machine and see if you really get the sewing bug, and then upgrade, altho longterm thats more expensive if you do upgrade.

My machine is a Delta one from Aldi for £40 :rotfl: I bought it a few years ago when all I did was patch and mend clothes. It's OK and does all the basics, but I would really like to upgrade now I've got back into sewing properly.

You bag ladies certainly make some lovely ones. I like the colour and the lining is nice and cheery. Lucky sister!

I posted a few mobile phone holder tutes a couple pages back. You can just change the sizes but use same technique for a kindle. Check the no chat thread too. Might be some on there. x

I made this one: http://www.modabakeshop.com/2009/05/bookkeeper.html#more Pictures are on my blog. O

ne thing I would say is that, if you're making the case for a new Kindle (I got mine for Christmas 2010), then only use 8 strips rather than 9 and in step 8, I'd sew the line 5.5 inches up rather than 6, as the tutorial is for the old Kindle, which is bigger than the new one.

There are also these ones as well:
