Sue, your house must be filled with bags by now!! :rotfl: Look forward to seeing the latest one once its finished.

I made a bag last week from Amy Butler fabric that I bought (loving Amy at the moment!) I planned on putting it on Folksy but my friend just saw a piccie of it so she says she might want to buy it instead. Hope so. It saves me the faff of having to write a description and calculate postage! :) The lining is the same fabric as the handles and its got 4 pockets. Takes bl**dy ages to make though. Ill be honest and say I find pleats a bit of a chore! x

Gosh, Pootle your bag is fabulous. I'm not suprised your friend wants it. (although I would be tempted to keep it :T)

I love the bag too Claire, I had that Amy Butler fabric, my son bought me some. He is always buying me fabric for my birthday and Christmas.

I started on a new cushion over the weekend and did a bit more to it yesterday after I had faffed about with my machine trying to get it to go properly. I think it might have been the thread I was using messing it up but I have not tried any straight stitching with it yet, I was appliqueing (how do you spell that??) some flowers onto the cushion front using zigzag.

I sorted all my room out too while I was up there, I have put all the fabrics and scraps together in colours, but I don't know what to do for my next project for my shop. My brain has hit a brick wall.

hart44, I see you are a noodlehead fan as well - I think her stuff is just lovely, am very jealous of talent like that... Have you tried Lisa Lam's u-handbag blog and patterns? Also very yummy designs :-)

Well done Chocolate :T the phone holders look great :D

Mysk_girl :D I love Noodleheads blog, the 1st thing I made from one of tutorials was the nappy holder last year when my 2nd DGD was on the way :D since then I have done loads of her purses and brought 3 bag patterns from her :D
I love Uhandbag too :D I get lots of my purse frames and other bits from there, I also have her book and can't wait for book No 2 to come out. I was gutted I couldn't make it to the quilting festival this year cause Lisa was there :(

I brought a pale blue baby fleece from the CS today for £1.50 it looks new and it is so soft, not sure what to do with it yet, might use it to line some more laptop bags, I made one for OH :D
