Can I just ask if any of you with blogs have a problem with hacking?

I used to have one and was innundated with SPAM and people trying to hack so I closed it down.
Not sure if I was just unlucky?

Still not sewing much as I'm so busy knitting. I have knitted 23 (soon to be 25) items for an Advent Calendar for my Grandson. Pics on Knitters Thread if anyone is interested.
Does anyone know of a way of making 'baggy' pockets?
If I made flat ordinary pockets some of my items won't fit as they are very 3D

Can only think of doing an inverted pleat?

    Would something like this work?

They look quite simple... But your little knitted creatures are awesome - I'm always in awe of anyone who can knit - my brain can't get the hang of it, crochet with one needle is fine, but 2 needles? No way Jose, says mysk-brain - no hospital treatment required yet, but I decided to quit before it became necessary!

Avstar, the adbreak thing sounds good, except OH has a morbid fear of adverts and we have sky+. I don't think I've watched live TV in about a year! Suits me, but no adbreaks unfortunately (or fortunately!)

Pootle, I've just finished washing all the bathmats and towels and hoovering the bathroom floor! So you were right on the money! Also I normally leave the washing up to drip dry but today it's dried and away.

Anyway, I'm a bad person, I've just polished the kids leftovers off again. Am trying to lose 2 stone and it's not going well. My knee is sore, so no running and now this. It would easily have been lunch tomorrow as well. Bah humbug. Off to find Avstar's blog while kids rot their brains with CBeebies...

Hi Cuddles, your knitted advent animals are lovely! I've not had any spam yet but my blog's only been up for a few days, blogger says it has a spam filter much like email so hoping that will divert most of it. Will have to see how it goes.

Thanks for the info flowerofscotland, good advice.

Haha Mysk, I'mm resisting Sky, I'm too easily distracted and I'd never get anything done with more channels to watch!

Thanks mysk_girl - that looks just the thing.

Will be making a felt tree to hang on the back of a door, with buttons to attach the figures.
Haven't decided yet whether to put pockets on or store the figures seperately. Surprised at how big some of them are.

Now I need to find 25 red buttons!
:oJack of all trades ... Master of none :o

I have my things on the planner upstairs and OH has his and our things on the HD planner downstairs. I don't watch any ads when I'm watching my programmes but when OH goes out and I stay downstairs to keep the budgie company, OH tends to leave the remote over the other side of the room and I can't be bothered to get it so it stays on Sky Sports News until he gets back. Lazy, me? ;)

Evening everyone. I have seen this really lovely idea for a baby bean bag. I would love to make one but can't find a similar pattern anywhere. I could probably work out a pattern but if possible I would like to find a pattern. Here is the bean bag I like... http://www.p-wholesale.com/cn-pro/25/102to2/baby-bean-bag-chair-60088.html. Any suggestions please.

Thanks hmo, and everyone who has followed me, I've tried to follow everyone back but I'm struggling to find the follow button for some, and I can't leave comments on some either.

Sethsgran, I've never seen one of those baby beanbags before but what a fab idea, it looks so comfy for baby :-)

  • Avstar, I find that my follow button doesnt work if I just click on it on someones blog so what I do is copy their blog URL then go into my dashboard then click add then paste the URL and it works perfect. I was following loads of blogs when I first started but not actually getting any blog feeds. Hope this helps. x
