  • Oh my God, that pic is HUUUUGGE! Sorry everyone - how do I make it smaller???
  • Oh I forgot to mention that I'm no healthier than the rest of you. I have RSI in both arms/hands, so anything crafty is a real problem for me, but I just can resist, like many of you on here.

You will have to go into photobucket or tinypic (or whever you loaded it from) and resize it then paste again. x

I have two pairs of school trouser hems to take up. I haven't started on the doorstop yet.
I went hospital visiting yesterday - phoned the ward a couple of hours before I left home. Two bus rides later - get there - relative been transferred to a care home in another town - back near where I journeyed from - not happy!

Anyone living near Dewsbury shouls make a visit to Fabworks... http://www.fabworks.co.uk/ They have recently increased their stock and now have a huge selection of fabrics etc. Well worth a visit if you live in the area.

Love the felt hearts! So sweeeeet - might have to pinch the idea for Christmas presents for DD's friends - I try to make stuff as the 4 girls are all in the first 2 weeks of December... Expensive month!

I've finished my sketch design for a wedding sampler, I struggled a bit choosing a quote as I wanted something short (!) and not religious. Went with "the whole of my heart for the whole of my life" - apparently it's French, I though it sounded lovely - and quick to hand stitch! Just got to get my frame out and attach the material - I have an old style one where you have to stitch the fabric to the frame, which annoys me intensely, it's always worth doing, but I COVET one of those snap on ones... But i have a frame and it works which is the main thing. Tonight was running night tho, so will have to wait until tomorrow to get started ok that. I need to lose weight, hence the running (cheaper than the gym and I live near lots of lovely places to run outside) but it's hard going some evenings... Can't give up my custard creams though, so running it will have to be! And I need a present for a birthday do on Sunday so might try another ruffled purse, I've got the bits and OH is away Saturday night (cricket tour) so no interruptions once the mini-mysk's are bedded down. I love uninteruppted sewing with cool music on :-) I'll be mostly sewing to Lady Gaga and Cee Lo Green this weekend, what do you all listen to?
