I didn't have too good a time - my industrial machine is still playing up - stitches really tiny at speed. I have given it a clean/rethreaded and a new needle.
My shoe stuffers trurned too small but they will be okay for my Granddaughter so won't be wasted. I will make some bigger ones tomorrow.
The bunting is coming along - it is fiddling about getting it to match the curtains that is taking time - all will be revealed when I finish it.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments about my job, I am luck that I do still have one that I don't mind doing but just wanted my evenings to sew :o

I have been sewing a few more things today, I have done some simple make-up bags and tote bags as they might be easier to sell if they are cheaper :D
I will let you all know how it goes and what is a good seller :D
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

    Welcome Fizz!

You can make kindle covers pretty simply. Here is a tute for you.

Thanks for the suggestions re fragrances for men.
Have tried fragrance oil on polyester stuffing in the past, but it doesn't hold the fragrance for very long. Also tried a bit of cotton wool soaked in fragrance and added to the stuffing and had the same problem.
Any suggestions about what might hold the fragrance longer?

    Love the pincushions and doorstops!

That would be a lovely gift if you used some really cool fabric. Here are a couple of tutes for scented shoe stuffers. x

Love the idea of doing these for men. Perhaps in denim or something, but can't think what to scent them with that would be masculine.

    Any suggestions?

what about that Victorian spice-mix stuff that lots of posters bought from ebay at Christmas time? I havent ordered any so not to sure if the scent in unisex or not. And sorry I had a look but cant seem to find the seller :(

I have this mix. Its very cinnamony. But the mix was quite powdery, and orange. So it was prone to stain my sachets.;)
