Technology is just not my thing. Wanted to comment on a few things on our facebook stuff but it wont let me?
I was going to say that i have some white fabric but its not cotton, its microfibre, soft sheen, bit like polyester to me. I bought abought 10 metres of it when the last grandson was born, to make nappies, covers etc. But I really wanted microfibre like towelling! shows that I am a bit of a dunce at times.!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Facebook has been down for a little while today (if you try and post it will say Ooops something gone wrong but we trying to fix it.) Is that the message you getting? If it is just repost and it should work.

Re. Sew magazine, they have got a deal on just now where if you subscribe you get 42 reels of Gutterman thread free which is quite a bargain. I found it was mainly clothes so subscribe to Sew Hip instead as I cant make clothes (well not ones that I could be seen dead in anyway!) x

Yes I already subscribe. I used to buy sew hip, but havent seen it around here in Brackley, so never got around to subscribing. Been getting Sew magazine for about 2 years now I think. But that was the first one I had actually made the dress. I keep saying I will make at least one thing out of all the magazines I get/have, but I am rather behind with that theory.

Refacebook, yes thats the messge, but I tried posting about 5 or 6 times, and so got fed up of it saying oops too me!
Maybe I will go back in a bit.
My laptop is now running slowly as well.
Itching to get to the sewing machine, but DGD is just not letting me.
She has just raided the freezer and found a mousse I didnt know was in there.
My BF has now text to say he is coming over this evening. So now I will not be able to sew until DGD goes to Nursery on Tuesday this coming week. Unless I have a miracle!":D

    Hi everyone.

I have not been able to check up on the posts as I needed to catch up with private messages (I have responded)

Not been around because I lost two people close to me in the past week and we had funerals that were one day after the other. It has been a very hard time.

I hope everyone has been enjoying their sewing time,
    x

About FB - I've just sworn at Farmville ;)

I've seen that - I'm thinking of subscribing to get that gift. I like Sew more than Sew Hip, there seems to be more in it. I do usually succumb and buy both though :o

I was thinking of adding Sew Hip but having just spent the last 3 hours working out my budget again!!! I have nothing left to spend. If I keep absolutely to the budget forecast figures, I will still be over budget on at least 5 of my things.!!! The only good bit of it is that I have lots of fabrics, so I will hopefully be able to get some money back by selling bits and pieces.:o:D

MooLoo, I am having to tighten my belt too :( but like you I have enough fabric to keep me going and hopefully I can sell lots when I do the craft stall in a few weeks time :)
I have Sewhip saved for me at my newsagents, I love it but so far have only made 2 things from the magazine :o I also get Popular Patchwork and one day i am going to have a go at making a proper quilt :rotfl:
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)
