Hi Wendy
I'm just doing it as I feel like, the bathroom is the easiest so I started there! It just helps me to know what I still have to do I think.
Today I have to admit I haven't done much.

Hi all
I'm still having a go at the kitchen but progress is very slow!
I emptied and cleaned the cupboard with plates, bowls etc in and didn't actually get rid of anything! - put it all back but in a much better arrangement.
I'm also slowly shredding a pile of credit card statements - with my manual paper shredder. I used to be able to get the kids to shred anything and everything but I think the novelty's worn off!
Today: In - groceries.
Out - another bag of rubbish - the council have collected the loose rubbish bags but not yet emptied the bin - getting there! Lots of out of date leaflets and various booklets that came out of magazines and a big bag of shredding.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
IN today:
1 giant tiger and 2 sacks of soft toys from a local MSEer. (Thank you so much Wendy, they will be perfect for my charity's stalls in the summer.) They are only temporarily at my house though, until I get the fundraising co-ordinator to pick them up.
1 Betterware catalogue - again, only temporary as it will be collected next Monday.
1 presentation box for a set of jewellery for my niece's 21st birthday.

I seem to have lost the momentum of decluttering every day, just don't seem to have the energy. I will keep on with my 100 things in 10 days challenge though. After a non-decluttery day yesterday, today I had a root through and found:
Empty brandy bottle box and empty liquid soap dispenser. These were in the garage, being saved until I came up with a brainwave use for them. This has never happened so they’ve gone in the recycling.
Empty whisky bottle. Well, it is now... there was a little bit left in the bottom so hubby decluttered it for me! Bottle has gone in the glass recycling.
Old sewing machine. I got this from a Freecycler back in the summer, and have been using it until one day in mid-seam the drive belt flew off! I have looked into getting a new one but because the machine is so old, and because I got a new machine for my birthday, this one will be going to the tip (to be recycled hopefully).
Calorie counter book from 2005. Don’t use this anymore and I expect the calories have all gone up in foods now, due to inflation! Gone in recycling bag.
Empty ink cartridge. Changed this morning, this will be recycled when I next get to Rymans.
Various bobbins and cottons and sewing bits. I’ve got 3 sewing machines still and so I’ve got tons of sewing bits and bobbins. These are going to Oxfam.
Some sort of massager.... it’s battery run and I don’t have any batteries, wouldn’t use it anyway. Off to Oxfam it goes.
Various old receipts and other bits of paper that need shredding. These will go into the shredder.
Pair of black sequinned mules. These were given to me in a load of clothes last year and have been lying in our study ever since. I might put them on Ebay, but they’ll probably go to Oxfam.
A tub of iron tablets that I don’t need any more as I’m no longer anaemic. I’ll take these back to the pharmacy at the doctors.
It’s amazing how many things I’ve found just laying around, that we walk over and past every day. With a bit of luck I’ll be able to list the big stuff tomorrow, that will really clear up some space.
As our snow is clearing now I'm intending tomorrow to do a big round trip and go to a) bottle bank; b) Oxfam; c) drop the toiletries off for the homeless shelter; d) the dump to drop off the sewing machine. That's the plan anyway... anything could happen!
Keep on decluttering!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Right seems everyone is going great guns at the moment.
Any way for last couple of days
In: Some food (yummy reduced desserts from iceland). A birthday present from boots 50% off sale. One Audio library book.
Out: One birthday present and card. Two carrier bags of christmas food stuffs out to my mum. And the charity shop bag has made it as far as the car.
Husband has been sorting and shredding stuff the today. He is confined to barracks. As the pathways around our house are still covered in snow and it is not safe for him to day.
So might get him up and running that job again tomorrow.
All the best.
Yours

Have put the recycling boxes out for (hopefully) collection tomorrow.
Won't be long before I fill those again!
Keep up the good work everyone. Where would all the charity shops be if we weren't supplying them with all this wonderful new stock?0 -
Evening all! I've had another lazy afternoon watching dvds after this morning's under-bed de-clutter. Didn't even make it for my planned sauna and jacuzzi, I was so lazy
Anyway, have of rid of a wheeled suitcase, flight bag and digibox since posting earlier. Anything not claimed on freegle by tomorrow is going OUT when the binmen come, so I can have my hallway back!
BTW, saw this article that you might all be interested in:
