    Hmmm...lets see...

    IN: Nothing!

OUT: rubbish, recycling, bag of manky potatoes (were half manky when I was given them), pile of Christmas cards.

Pending: Baby bottle warmer, waiting for freecycler to collect. Bag of books for charity shop. Bag of books to go to sister.

    That'll do (starting small.... :p)

Hi Ruth. No problem. I copied this idea from loopychriss who on a regular basis clears 100 things in 10 days. I mutiplied it up because my house is brimming with stuff!
In relation to what counts, it's up to you really. My items include all sorts of individual things from pencils to furniture. Best of luck and working on getting rid of 10 things a day really pushes you to keep looking in different clutter places each day.
PenelopePenguin does something useful and that's list areas she needs to tackle.
    Best of luck Ruth.:A

  • Had another unproductive day. I'm off sick with stress/depression and today hasn't been a very good day, I've barely moved from sofa :o Trying to still be productive whilst being laszy though, so uploading cds to i tunes (have sold some on music magpie and just uplaoding the odd songs I want to keep)

I did manage a few things though:

Out - 10 pairs of socks, half a dozen cd boxes (no cds in them  ) and a few odd bits and pieces outta the fridge that loooked a bit manky :o

    In: Nothing

Hey SpendaholicChick at some bits went out today, that's great. Is there something you could do while resting on the sofa, like go through a make-up bag? Or jewellery box? Take care.:A

Hi to all the newbies - we are really starting to get a group of us together, but especially Balelrinacaz, good for you! My son is almost 13 and I had to breathe down his neck to get him to declutter his room

Well today has been another day in due to the snow  but on the positive side because I am not going out I am getting a lot done! Today was the turn of my bathroom and I am ashamed at how much rubbish and how much recycling I have produced out of this little room

    In:

Lakeland Order - the lady who delivered it is catching up with herself after the snow, its just starting to thaw now. So a new toilet brush and some bags for hampers next year have been put away.

    Out:

Decluttered make up bag - brushes washed, one carrier bag of stuff to go on freecycle and some nicer stuff to be listed on ebay.
Nail varnish decluttered and gloopy ones thrown away, colours I was having a moment with when I bought them put in the freecycle bag. ;)
Medicine drawer decluttered, all out of date or close to it stuff chucked out and packaging recycled
One lot of little drawers binned
    One bag of recycling
One black bag of rubbish

I really wont have to buy any shower gel or bath stuff for some time is the only good thing and now I can see it all properly, with all of the shelves re-organised and nail varnishes put away properly. So tonight I am going to have a nice long soak in my clean and decluttered bathroom :D

Its good to see how everyone is getting on, I know that I seem to be chucking out sooooo much but its reassuring to realise that I am not the only one, and that lots of us are going through the same moments :T Tomorrow I will have a go at the family bathroom and the downstairs toilet which shouldnt take long (ha famous last words!) and then there are the big tasks of the kitchen, mud room and the spare room.......It may take me some time :rotfl:

  • Ok so now my bedroom floor is almost clear.
I've thrown out a lot of carrier bags, most things are in draws, bath stuff is in the bathroom, and a bowl of loose change has been put into a piggybank :) have also thrown out some old magazines (cut out the recipes I think I might use first) and lots of general rubbish
Not got onto a shelf and don't think I will tonight, but I've done quite a bit
