Plus I keep telling myself to sort out some old winter coats I no longer love, as many charity shops round our way are asking for winter clothing donations.

So my next mini target is:
    - Sort 3 things of winter clothing for the charity shop (including any unloved hats and stuff)
    - Sort 3 pieces of tat from the kitchen.
    - Tidy 3 things from the stairs

    :A

Well nearly a year of serious decluttering has meant that finding the winter clothing was harder than I thought it should be. But
    - a bag went to the charity shop.
    - included some chinese tablewear stuff, and other bits.
    - stairs - tidied some new shoes away. Sorted some books to return to friends.

So made a baby start. :T

Have already left a box out to fill with more bits for the charity shop. More treasure found when decluttering today. Found the cat radiator bed used in the winter months. There is now a snoring warm cat on there. :A
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.

I got 87 items on in the end, I have to admit that a lot of it is CDs that DS left when he moved out last year, but there's also some of his clothes that he doesn't wear anymore and PS1 games that he doesn't play anymore (I do have his permission to sell them, lol!) as well as some stuff that I don't use anymore or have never used! I've got bids on 2 items already, not much out of 87 but every little helps, and there are still a few more days to go yet, so hopefully some more will go by the end.

    Sue.

    Hi

More of a lurker here, but have you tried Music Magpie for the CDs,
They make you an offer and it is up to you to sell or not

They pay postage and then send a cheque after checking the CDs.

No Ebay or Paypal fees to pay.

Decluttering has come to a stop. I've got a bad back and even moving hurts. Looking on the brightside though DH and my mum and dad are shopping for just the essentials so lots of moneysaving going on.

Looking forward to joining you all as soon my back is better

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I did try Music Magpie, thinking it would be an easy way to get rid of them, but they were mostly only offering 30p each for them, the highest price they offered was 45p. I only tried about 6, then gave up and decided to try them on Ebay, where I've got between £1.00 and £12.00 for them, so even taking fees into account I've still made more with them.

Today I took some old envelopes into work, took my dad's washing back to him and sorted out all the paperwork on the hall table, looks nice and tidy now! The freezer I sold on Ebay will be picked up on Sunday.

That is good for the CDs on Ebay - I have never had much luck on there with them

Well done with the freezer too
