I am looking to move house in the next year or so by looking on the homeswapper website.
So ... I have decided to start decluttering as if I were getting ready to move house soon. This will be a mammoth task as I have 13 years' worth of clutter in this house - my hobbies include knitting, cross-stitching, gardening, my chickens and my dogs, plus a bike and hundreds of books - so you can imagine all the paraphernalia (sp?) that goes with all that!
I may need a hefty kick up the bum to keep me going. Please!Aspire not to have more but to be more.

Thats almost me! I don't have any animals any more, and I've lived here 12 years not 13, but apart from that, yep! Identical twins! Its taken forever, and even now that I have a pretty firm moving date, there are still some big items I need to shift - a cross trainer, lots of CD holders that were a bad buy for collecting dust, a garden shredder (leaving stuff out in the rain for a couple of years seems to do almost as well), all sorts of things.
Best of luck, smileyt - keep coming back and telling us how you're getting on. I wish I'd numbered things, the way greent and mineallmine (and a couple of others???) do on here - I'd be up in the 1000s by now2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
151-153 - books. 2 to charity and 1 chewed board book to recycling!
