    In
    • Nothing
    Out
    • Hugh washing powder box, had enough for one wash left (used up and recycled)
    • Loads of old receipts (inc one for Woolworths!!), prescriptions, etc (shredded & recycled)
    • Bin bag (collection tomorrow)
    • Wipeable baby books (bin ~ cannot recycle)
    • Upside down bottle of chilli sauce ~ contents had leaked (recycled)
    • Cornflour box ~ only a few tsps left so put in small container (box recycled)
    Pending
    • £10 from Lottery :j
    Done!
    • Washing up x 4 lots!!!
    • 1 load of laundry ~ washed, dried, put away
    • Banana cake made
    • Mini jam tarts made (gone!)
    • Lemon meringue pie made (half gone)
I've just taken the rubbish out for tomorrow and found a giant (4" dia) half dissolved jelly sweet by the side of my house ~ the kids from next door have been throwing stuff over AGAIN :mad: This has been going on for years now but the housing won't doing anything about it as they "can't prove who's doing it". Easy for them to say, they don't have to live with it. The sooner we have enough money to move the better. I was in quite a good mood today. Scum
    Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,869.54 May 2037
    Swagbucks ~ £130 (2024 ~ £395)
    Surveys ~ £139.39 (2024 ~ £280.14)
    Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)
  • Bathroom, toilet room and landing now de-cluttered. The landing sounds easy, but is home to two massive book shelves housing jigsaws and games as well as books.

Most of the books, puzzles and games are now stashed for a boot fair. I have only kept three jigsaws and three board games. I suppose I can't really class the 40+ books awaiting selling as out yet, but I can say:

    Out:
    21 books to DS2
    2 jigsaws to DS2
    Chess set to DS2

So a de-cluttered landing for me and a cluttered flat for DS2 :D

Didn't manage the 50 items in 5 days challenge, but will list what went out -

11 - Belt that was too big for me
12 - CD returned to owner
    13 - Catalogue recycled

These are pending, but I will include them anyway to boost my paltry total! :o

    14 - 19 - Tops into charity bag
20 - Hairbands in packet (never used) into charity bag
21 - CD into charity bag

I've also put ten items on Ebay today - it should have been more, but got fed up and went out for a walk instead.

Hi Guys - Need a bit of a boot up the bum because I am feeling really low today - well actually more like really cross and horrid and I can feel myself slippinl further down if not careful. Nothing major but ntl its a pain. So - the window cleaner is here at the mo - so the dogs are barking and being a pain. I cant get changed because I dont know which window to avoid (he's a nice reliable bloke but even so) and the nice sunny morning is developing into a rainy afternoon. Cooking usually helps me but that will ruin the diet and down we go again (mood not lbs!)(You can tell how grumpy I am - thats my 1st exclam) - maybe I will luxuriate in a bath (after w cleaner has gone) or roll my sleeves up and clean the whole house from top to bot. OH not in until v late so it doesnt matter what I do (or dont - wuite literally - I dont think he notices one way or another) Maybe I will clean until say 7 and then have the worlds most wonderful bath with a pot of tea and the Archers and 10 towels and new soap and all the smellies I can find then into my pjs and watch truely trashy tv .....
Please say its not just me that sometimes feels like this? I know its about a 1 on 1-10 scale of depression but it really makes you appreciate what it must be like if you are a depressive.
    Thanks for listening.
Off to the loo to put cleaning garb on now.

Megs mum I hope you're ok, its not nice to hear you sound so down. I have a migraine type headache today so feel pretty carp myself so can sympathise with you. I took some tablets and then took our dog for a walk, the sunshine and fresh air made me feel a bit better. Maybe you should have that soak in the bath, read a book and have a bit of 'you' time? Think of one positive thing about yourself as I'm sure you are a fabulous lady with lots of lovely things going for you. S*d the cleaning, put on some happy music and dance and sing your heart out tomorrow is another day and hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow. Sending you a big hug :grouphug: (This icon always makes me smile its so dodgy!! :D )

I haven't been decluttering every day recently, but when I came home from Church today, DH was decluttering the garage!
He had brought some items back into the house so there was nothing for it but set him straight about why they were in the garage in the first place(half way house for "stuff")
At the end of it all, he had the car filled to brim and took the lot to the dump, now we both feel great! He has also dismantled the slide (DS now 15yo) and the rusty bbq, so off they go to the dump tomorrow.
    I'm well pleased:j
Hi, have you ever used freecycle - even broken stuff goes quickly on there!
