    IN
    Bag of Pokemon Cards
Toy Cat - both for DS & both from charity shop when I dropped stuff off -DS insisted - who am I to argue?
    OUT
    3 Vases
    3 Bowls
    2 X Annuals
Bag of Pens all to CS
2 rotten old shelves from Garden to bin (the end of the garden is in sight)
    Pending out
About 40-50 brand new Mother's Day Cards. I'm torn between trying to sell them on Ebay or just giving them to the CS - I'll sleep on it.

Went up in the loft today - it was horrible  - It was a struggle to even get in there. I managed to find the things I was looking for but I'm daunted by what a monumental task it will be to declutter it. I had a peak in the shed a few days ago & its similarly crammed full. I think I'll need to wait until Spring to attempt those two.

  • Hi everyone, I have been following this thread with interest for ages now. As I have just sold my house and will be moving in 4 weeks, I have to step up the decluttering. I hope you don't mind if I join in :)

I too would like to join in.

Won't be long before the little man is mobile so need to get rid of all the [STRIKE]crap [/STRIKE] junk everywhere!

This week I have done the following

    OUT

4 bags of bric a brac and clothing for charity collection
    3 bags of rubbish
Cleared the crap in the kitchen so I now have double the worktop space :j
Garage tidied up and rubbish all cleared
Baby clothes all put in storage units under the cot ready for the next one!

I still have loads to do - including clearing the dining room table of paperwork, filing or shredding said paperwork, packing my maternity clothes up for storage, sort OH's clothes for storage, ebay tons of stuff from the conservatory!

OH has put some stuff on ebay tonight so we will get there slowly!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Been keeping on top of junk mail and newspapers. Also glass and plastics. Not much real decluttering done this week. Missed out on the free ebay listing too. But have used up some toiletries and recycled packaging where possible. Will try to do better next week cos I am away this weekend - don't know where cos its a surprise for my birthday. I think I might try the X items in X days plan. Will decide what figures over the weekend.

    Have a good weekend everyone
