Am joining in with this; it will be be sporadic but have just posted 3 items on freegle, so have made a start.

If they don't get taken will give to charity shop.

Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
    So we’re empty nesters.
    Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).

Have been AWOL for a while but just caught up.

Not a lot in and out this week, few bits of post and badges for my camp blanket in and mainly recycling/rubbish out.

Have a week off soon so will be trying to tackle things then!

1 dress won on ebay – was £100 in shops, I won it for £6 – ebay at its best!

Wow - too good a bargain to miss!!!

    ONly a tiny bit here:

    IN:
2 Sylvanian families sets (1/2 price or less) and 3 lego sets - bought by the kids with their own money
cuddly soft cow - bought by DD when out with friends... - like she hasn't enough cuddlies!!
£50 in the post from Premium Bonds win :j

    OUT:
about 10 small toys put aside for Op Xmas Child
LOTS of rubbish and recycling for collection tomorrow (inc some sorted paperwork from the office)
A broken seed tray and a broken plastic guinea pig food bowl removed from the garden (why were they there?!) and binned

    PENDING:
90 labels received for NCT sale at end of month. About 30 or so used at the mo - but that's way more than 30 items, as a lot of the clothes are bundles/ outfits. I will use all 90 labels and generally sell about half of what I take. I'll then re-sort it as to whether it's worth keeping to try again or freegle it
Also 4 items listed on freegle - and should hopefully all be collected tomorrow (inc a bag of baby clothes, so again more than just 4 items)

    Onwards and upwards!

  • Hi All
Too cold for hubby to do car boot today - He has stood there the last 2 wednesdays with thermals, double pairs of socks, plus lots of layers and a thermos whilst I'm at work. I'm not that stupid - I help him load the car then off to work and act sympathetic when he calls to tell me he is cold!!!! Don't think he's doing too bad getting rid of stuff

    Out 1 chest of drawers
2 glass topped tables - sold via an advert
    1 bag of rubbish
    3 ebay parcels - yippee!!!

    In - Nothing - yippee!!!!

Hubby is doing a house clearance at the weekend, so making space for the stuff coming in - cellar and one downstairs room empty. Watch me next week, getting rid of it all once i have looked it all over (hopefully) and reassigning anything useful to Sunny Donny's house!!!

Pending - 2 suitcases of clothes to go through and see if I still like them or can get in them!!!- sorting and photographing the ones that are in reject pile to put on ebay tomorrow and friday for free listing days.
Mortgage free as at 1/9/13 :j
To start work on the credit cards now!!

Another great day - big box of cookery books and a bag of DS's outgrown fancydress outfits to charity shop. Two bin bags of misc junk binned. Big box of magazines (yes I still have plenty left) and a load of empty water bottles to the recycling.

The psychologist is visiting tomorrow and I'd love another week but it isn't going to happen. At least I've made the most of the time available and do feel a lot better about her visiting now.
