Hi there. I hope you don't mind me joining in. I've been reading your progress for ages and it looks like you're all doing very well :T
On the surface my house looks very clean and tidy but if you looked under the beds and in the cupboards you'd discover what a little hoarder I am
So over the last couple of weeks I've got rid of four big bags to the charity shop and one big bag of unused toiletries to a charity fundraiser for our local first responders. I've also put 11 items on ebay and they all have watchers and a couple have bids.
Pending in - new washing machine (mine leaks like a sieve) :j
Pending out - old washing machine to recycling
Once I've got most of the cupboards sorted I'll take a deep breath and hit the loft. I'm pretty sure there's only a couple of boxes up there......but it's scaryAs my dad always used to say 'Just because you've got the money doesn't mean to say you have to spend it all at once'0 -
gosh....i just saw this

OUT:
3 black bags of rubbish
Lots of recycling (mainly paper)
Clothes for charity
DD is still decluttering her room so I am expecting to add to this.
IN: Nothing at all.
Feeling quite exhausted now, just spending a little time on here before we have Pancakes for tea. Won't get much done tomorrow DH is on the nightshift so don't want to disturb him.
Feeling pleased with the results so far.
Happy decluttering everyone.

Those poor people, I know I moan about the mess, but it is nothing like that. I do understand the first man and his obsession with books though

Was hoping to finish my tiling tomorrow but can't so I'll get rid of some junk instead.

YES ...........Im so chuffed today as my local bin refuse council man has decided to give me a large green bin and a large blue bin that he is going to drop off before saturdays party at my house . As my bins are always overflowing .
Also being the nice person he seems he removed all my black bin bags from the yard I had mounted up as my wheelie bin got stolen before xmas and has given me a nice new clean black bin last week . Not only that he also took anything large like old garden toys etc that wouldnt fit in a bin with him . It just shows that being friendly and polite to someone gets you a long way
I think he will be getting a nice big cuppa coffee of me when he brings the new bins this week for his help
This week I will be able to scrub my yard now and it will look clutter free - Never thought I would be excited about doing this { and now its snowing so cant do it now } :rotfl:
