    Ooooh can I play please.....

I am a horrendous clutter bug and have the Child Psychologist coming to visit my DS on Thursday. Very few of my friends have ever set foot in my house and enough is enough.

So today I took a huge old big tv (DS had a flatscreen for his birthday from his Grandpa - lucky boy), two broken games consoles, broken electric can-opener, the polystyrene from the new TV and a large bag of outgrown toys to the recycling / charity shop.

I already have two big boxes of magazines / newspapers for the recycling tomorrow. I also have good intentions of taking a huge dolls-house and bag of furniture that has sat in my hall for about 2 years to the charity shop. i thought if I told you Guys it might stand a good chance of actually happening. Oh and a box of books for charity too.

    In - a replacement can-opener which i've needed for about 2 months and 2 Ben 10 toys.

  • Not much today
Normal rubbish collection, so one black bag out
    1 Book out (amazon sale :D )

the clothing bag wasn't a "proper" charity one after all, so my coat had a stay of execution.

  • Another decluttering day here today. Loads of old magazines into the recycling. Two boxes of stuff sorted and priced, twenty books priced - there is now a gap at the side of my chair :T

    More tomorrow, keep going everyone

  • 'Mornin all. Got half way through spare room yesterday then ran out of ooomph so I am posting here so I will feel guilty if I dont get it finished today. I got sidetracked after lunch (I thought I would just spend half an hour on Ancestry ... still there at 4.30 oops). Mornings are much better for me.
    In : food shopping, toothbrush

  • It's my day off today and OH wanted the car so I took him into work and then went straight to the tip and got rid of:

    1 broken portable TV

A bag for life full of plastic bottles

A garden sack full of flattened tetra packs

Lots and lots of flattened cardboard

Still messy outside my back door but a definate improvement.

I'm off to the libray soon with the pile of books that are beside front door. Whilst I am out I'll pop into the charity shop with a 2/3rds full sack of assorted odds and ends.

This afternoon I've got a dental appt so that will no doubt declutter some money from my bank account to the dentists account. :rotfl:

    Best wishes to everyone

There seems to be a lot being written about de-cluttering at the moment

I really need to keep on top of my grand declutter!
