I'm just about to put some pillows on freecycle, although not sure what people will be like with second hand pillows. I only bought them at the end of last year, but really can't get on with them (they're orthopedic ones and hurt my neck) so bought some new ones this week. The 'old' ones look brand new and have hardly been used as I have been using one that came with the bed, so worth a try I suppose.

Someone has just collected these, so i'm glad I put them on there now!

Nothing else has gone 'out' today including me as i'm having a very lazy day. But that does mean nothing has come in either :p

  • Lovely bit of tidying up in the garden whilst DS playing with his friend and ignoring me - Didn't feel like hard work because of the lovely winter sunshine.
    IN
DVD & CD for DS - came in the post
Cute little Paul Frank box from charity shop (a very small sin)
    OUT
Massive wheely bin full of garden cuttings that have been laying around for 2 months
Some rotten old shelves - bin
A couple of bags of broken stuff from the garden

I also unclogged my drain and guttering at the back of the house, which has made me feel virtuous. :A That's enough de-cluttering for one day. Off to make the most of the remainder of DS' play-date by putting my feet up & reading a book.

Have a good weekend everyone. :)

    Afternoon all!

Haven't posted for a while, cos I've been in hospital. Not a lot has happened here:

    IN:
One new bed and mattress for DS1 (DS2 will have the 'old' one - 4 years old, but it's a cabin bed and DS1 has outgrown it, really
    Pain meds
    Small amount food shopping
books bought for me whilst in hosp
    flowers

    OUT:
    1 top to rags recycling
1 womb in op! (sorry if TMI)
    2 pts blood in op!
couple of sample/ tester toiletries used up

    PENDING OUT:
Packaging from bed - DH is doing all the housework at the mo so that's not being sorted
Also sold 6 items on ebay whilst in hosp - so need to sort those for DH to post next week.

Can't see much happening here for a while, but shall attempt a teeny weeny bit now and then!

Hope you're feeling better soon greent!

I've finally sorted out the shelves in the pantry, looking a lot tidier and I now know I don't need to buy any kitchen foil for a while as have three packs! However, the pantry floor is still cluttered with OH's fermenting wine and wine making equipment and will not move for at least six months! Gah!

    In

Chocolate (v. important - essential weekend food)
    Magazine

    Out

Various out of date food and medicines found lurking in the back of the pantry.
  • Do you ever have days when you just feel like stamping your feet and giving up when you see the sheer amount of stuff that you need to deal with?

Well today was one of those days. It doesn't help that the person helping me: 1) doesn't want to part with anything, and 2) isn't keeping the different piles of stuff organised (e.g. stuff to freecycle, stuff to recycle, thing to go to the charity shop, things for ebay, etc etc).

    *deep breaths* :mad::mad::mad:
