    morning all
sounds like everyone had very productive weekends:T
    hope all are well

didnt post yesterday so this is yesterdays and so far today

    IN
    shirt for DS -won
postage stamps - id run out again
diary - given to me by guy in the paper shop
    milk
papers, including pile of assorted sunday mags
another of those free plastic boxes from sainsburys

    OUT
glass bottles and jars - finally used up the bath oil pearl things and the dregs form a couple of perfume bottles :T so their containers went as well
milk bottles - on doorstep ready for collection
12 letters and birthday cards that needed posting
small parcel of knitted squares - posted to the charity i knit for
broken bread maker - why did it get put in the attic 3 yeas ago and not the tip:o - down the recycling tip
broken kettle - same as the bread maker:o - down the recycling tip
6 small appliance boxes and packaging - they were still in the attic long after the appliances have passed being guaranteed
broken indoor tv ariel - well i doubt it works its been in the back garden over the winter:o - - down the recycling tip
sunday mags and advertising chaff that comes with them - papershop gives us a pile of assorted sunday mags on monday morning they end up hanging round till thursday before getting read and sorted but ive already been hrough them and put all the boring ones and the adverts in the recycling bags and just left the ones out that i think people will find intersting (they will all be recycled friday morning)

    sorted
found the toasted sandwich maker we borrowed years ago from the in-laws i muast ask if they want it back and if so clean it up - if not its down the recycling bank
i got a new address book for christmas so rounded up the 5 other addy books i have transfered all relavant details into new one and shredded the others
also got a recipie book (blank for putting own recipies in) transfered all that were in my old photo album and stuffed insde other cookbooks so album has gone as have recipies i wont ever use or have better duplicates of.
i got one of those birthday card organisers as well so i spent yesterday sorting through the cards i have that are suitable for upcoming birthdays and have filed them in the relevant months and put a list at the front of how i need cards for and what months so hopfully i wont get caught out the day before (or after as is the usual case):o
put all the broken wax and bits of candles burnt down t the wicks over the week as ds wants to have a candle making session next weekend so we can reuse the old wax - doesnt make brill candles but it keeps him happy and they look nice and are cheap plus it means im not buying more new ones in. i would hate t count the amount of candles we have in the house but i have started usng them as ive managed to convince myself that faded chipped candles do not make attractive ornaments :rotfl:

hoping to get some ironing done this afternoon so that will clear the remains of the pile off the coffee table. its decluttering of a sort;)
    have agood day all

Shiny new door bolt is now on the bathroom door all sparkly and chrome – im sure the value of my house has gone up because of its loveliness!!!! (little things please little minds!)
    A book
    Food!
    4 library books

    Out

Crummy old brass door bolt can go back to the land that time forgot as its horrid and a thing of ugliness!!
    4 ebay parcels
    1 library book
    1 bin to ebay!
Big bag of magazines to sister
Have started making a car boot box for the summer already – planning is key! Over the weekend I managed to detangle my necklaces and jewellery and started putting away the bits and pieces I didn’t want to keep anymore – very chuffed!

    Pending

Big tip run planned – laminate, underlay, empty paint pots, broken bins all to go – all stacked in the conservatory now but will look so much better when its all gone!

Have also sorted out the cleaning products cupboard so that now everything is in order of what needs using up first – we have about 4 cifs and 2 bleaches and this is when we already have bottles of bathroom cleaner and descaler that have just the dregs in – thing is I wont throw them away but OH wont use them cos theyre so old and have hardly any in them – so this weekend I did a big clean in the bathroom and used up a couple of products that literally had a few drips left in them – but they did the job and now my bathroom is sparkly clean!

    Afternoon all,

I did another couple of hours de-cluttering yesterday including sorting through my make-up and wardrobes. I haven’t thrown away too many clothes yet but have earmarked a few items that may go if I don’t wear them before spring arrives.

    In: book returned from friend

    Out:
Make-up; foundation, lipstick, old nail polish, tatty brushes, tinted moisturiser (old and wrong colour), couple of perfume and moisturiser samples (have no idea how long they’d been there so bin)
2 books lent to friend (she calls me her library!):D
2 books passed to friend for her to dispose off (don’t want them back)
Couple of tupperware containers, jams jars, coat hangers, paper, magazines into recycling
Shampoo that made my hair greasy - bin
Trousers, shirt, boots and pair of shoes into pending charity bag

I’m starting to see where I’ve been now with my de-cluttering. Its great to open a draw or cupboard and to find it sorted and tidy and know there are only things you are going to need or use in there from now on.

I’ve a long way to go yet but the last few weeks of de-cluttering are starting to show…. Thanks everyone for keeping me motivated! :T

Hi everyone - I keep falling off this wagon - and its really important I stay on it this time!!!! :D Ive decided to move to London at some point, hopefully this year....by September.

So I really REALLY need to stick at decluttering my house, but raising as much money from my junk as I can!!!

Since Ive last posted, I sold a load of Toy Story Toys and bedding to another mum on Netmums. And other than general junk and gibble being binned or recycled -thats about it really..... :rotfl: so Im not doing very well at all!!!!!

Ive starting going through LO clothes taking out what doesnt fit or what I dont like and filled one carrier bag so far. Ive got two friends who have little boys of a similar age, so will let them look through them first before dealing with the rest.....

My plan tonight is to finish going through the clothes and then form a plan of action. It may involve Ebay or netmums....but likely to include the local charity shop. :D

    xxx

ETA - Oh I forgot - I decluttered a Dog Kennel to Ebay, which was collected at the weekend. :)

    London Fund = £25.
