Compost bin emptied onto veg beds in garden (I'm counting that as an 'out'
Bag of clothes - freecycle
Books - freecycle
DVD - freecycle
Old paperwork - burnt in garden this afternoon
Recycling into bin
Tomorrow I'll be posting some parcels (Ebay) so that's a few more bits and pieces gone
Hopefully the weather will be good next weekend and we can start to declutter the garden ! House is looking very good :j. We'll start on the loft in a couple of weeks I think:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

Last year's diary into recycling (after copying across birthday dates into current diary)
Keyring into charity bag
The Ebay item sold, so will get that packaged up to go, and can add that and survey payment into my holiday fund!
Didn't manage to get the pantry shelves sorted, I always seem to be quite lazy on a Sunday (but think I deserve it as work full time.) So main decluttering day will be Saturdays, I may get bored and have a bonus decluttering session on a Sunday too!0 -
Not done much this week, as returned to work after 4 weeks off, and recently joined a gym so am pretty knackered
So, IN: Presents for DS' birthday this week (sweatshirt, head massager, bouncy ball thingy, swimshorts and a stylophone), also wrapping paper, card, banners, candles and balloons. (Another) DVD and 4 solar lights for the garden (suppose they'll technically be out again soon lol). DS bought a new mobile and a new tech deck, so not too bad for a weekend shopping trip (first one this year too!). Also picked up new Argos catalogue, will chick old one tomorrow.
OUT: Fleece jacket put into car to drop into clothes bank next time I'm passing, and a freebie calendar (recycled)
Megsmum, might it be worth you getting a pretty basket for your hubbys keys etc if he does that regularly/ At least then it'd all be contained!
Congratulations MerryMary! Well done :T
*edit* oops, almost forgot the pair of shoes and pair of flip flops I also bought today...GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

Hi,
Not been here for a while. PC coughed and spluttered... I did do some decluttering but have totally lost momentum by not coming on here and seeing everyone elses progress.
My last declutter included:
4 toiletries (used up or charity)
3 books (2 to go to their owner, ooops!)
2 PC mice (charity place that accepts "electricals")
Loads of papers but will only count as one item
So that was 10, yey! Also today I sorted:
- a new lipgloss to give to a neighbour
- 4 cookery books to give to different neighbours
So I will tot this lot up (mmm that's about 15 items, add to my target and see how much I have to try and clear before the end of the month.
Everyone seems to be doing really well. I just keep telling myself that if there's less stuff around then it'll be easier to keep straight/clean.:ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Completely shattered. Managed to :
- Tidy & declutter the 2 cupboards under the stairs, meant that I could finally get to the the gas / electricity meters to read them (although partly wished I hadn't)
- Clear out the massive bag of "stuff with no home" that I had been adding to since the Xmas period
- Create a "To do" box for current household paperwork
Cover for DS's passport (justification is that I will be able to easily tell it apart from mine - really it was because it's cute and only cost £1.75 in the Paperchase sale)
OUT
A serious amount of rubbish from under the stairs- including the handle to a mop I no longer have the head for (& haven't for years)
Vast quantities of recycling
Pending Out
A box of USB leads - not sure what to do with them - any ideas?
More stuff for charity shop - including the biggest umbrella known to man.
CompletelyLost - I did a similar thing last Autumn - I took in absolutely loads of stuff belonging to my cousin to sell on Ebay for him - I sold the easy things but ran out of steam & still have a shed full of his stuff - it's even spilled over to my DS's playhouse so I'd better try to do something about it before Spring or DS won't be too pleased.Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

Hi Guys - Another grey Monday here - SO I am going to attack the garage for ONE HOUR and vow not just to move things from pillar to post but actually chuck out things. Just one little ghastly hour
- I can do that cant I? Then I will reward myself by sowing the Aquadulce broad beans in the g'house and pretend that its Spring!:T
Kitchen still looking fab and dining room benefitting from fewer things lying about and a home being found for the sewing machine that is out of sight. Must keep at it!!Stay clutter-free
No new stuff unless to replace broken items that are essential.
£2 savings pot (started Oct 09) £182 so far (£100 of which is banked)
Roadkill jar (found money) 87p and 20 eurocents0
