may well do this tomorrow - on the job hunt today! I like the idea of 1/2 hour bursts because I have no motivation at all to do longer stints!0

Another one with a craft stash here! We've got a little 'office' area on our top landing (3 storey house) and it's my craft area as OH has much more space in the office for his stuff but it's still a mess and I can't use the table atm  when I've finished general areas I want to find the table again so I can sort all my stuff and get crafting once more!
Anyway since yesterday:
In:- 3 pots of vitamins from Boots, we're almost out and these were on a good offer with extra points

- 3 items of make up, all things I needed as I had just thrown out my last mascara and didn't own any bronzing beads - until now! Done with extra points, 3for2 and used money I made selling things last week so not too bad!!
- CD writing pen as we needed one last night and forgot to bring ours out with us
- old mascara
- 10 water bottles in bags back into the office at work
- a bag for life worth of paperwork etc given out to various people in our music group
- left over posters which went in the recycling and have been taken already.
- DVD cases and disks (they hadn't been in the house for long though)
- all recycling boxes collected this morning before we left for work
- Avon catalogue left on doorstep

I have come to the conclusion that I really must do something.
But can I ask, where did you start?
My whole house is one big hotspot, a lot of my problem is that I bulk buy, for instance the Co-Op have had a deal on toilet rolls for the last couple of weeks so I have bought 10 packs. That in itself is a good thing,,,,,but,,,I have no room to keep other stuff, the kitchen is groaning with similar deals.
The house looks like a bomb has gone off at all times, not so much because I buy rubbish, but I never get around to putting stuff away.
Everywhere you look there are little piles of "stuff" that needs to be sorted.
Do you give yourself a time allotment? Do you finish one room before you start on the next?
I really feel overwhelmed with it all, I have dreams of living this life where everything has a home and is in it.
I think it will only ever be a dream for me.Ebay 13

I'm have a week of tidying and cleaning....my parents are coming this weekend!
So far today I have washed the lounge curtains, washed our bed sheets, another load of washing is just finishing. Finished last nights washing up, mopped lounge floor although I think I'll be doing it again later as I used cillit bang and its left a "layer of scum" on the surface....note to self dont buy it again!), hm soup is ready to cook on the stove, tonights dinner is out of the freezer, put about 5 loads of washing back in the wardrobes and sprayed the taps with lime lite so it can do its stuff!
Then later I will hoover and then go to get some milk, and a haggis if they are now going cheap!;)
Have a good one!0 -
