LL ((hugs)) thinking of you honey
grateful oh no, hope you get some soon
polkadot congratulations, take things easy honey
Crafty try Argos or Wilkinsons, that is where my last 2 came from. Poundstretcher/Instore have them too.
Axey :rotfl: eee terrible, I use the same excuse but it's partly true as it was October and we are still not finished unpacking/sorting.

I am being very good, not even so much as glanced at a sale online or in a shop. We had a Lakeland opened just about 1 mile from me and I've not even set foot into the place knowing I will spend, so :p I am being very very good, for a change.

Sat waiting for a) my new sofas to arrive b) someone to collect the old ones. The person who was collecting the old ones was supposed to phone when she'd sorted a van, no call yet and I phoned her hours ago. My sofas set off yesterday so they should arrive ok as already got out of Wales and were in Newcastle. DP been awake half the night again so he's still in bed and when I asked if we were going to try to get the sofas in the garage he scream at me that they would go in the yard if the new ones arrived and noone collected so I left him to it and haven't touched my bedroom. This house is way too small to keep both in, last one I'd have fitted them 3 times over in the living room, oh I miss that house. I was up with DS2 when he tiddled the bed at 2am but he was up even later than that. He's gone back to sleep. I've decluttered the poop that was hidden by snow in the garden, ewww gross, incase they need to go through the back gate with the sofas. I have cleared the front hall of stuff inc the bin, shoes etc so there is easier access. I have moved the dining table incase the space is needed so that is wedged closer to the kitchen. I'll no doubt still have to shift something else.

Put some stewing steak, carrots, sugar snap peas and baby corn in the SC, hope it tastes ok, bit of a mismatch but what I had in, then at least we have something for tea no matter how mad the day gets.

Hope you all have a good day, I will pop back later if I get time x x x
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Afternoon all - just off out in a sec, but thought I'd post for the week so far. Not doing too well, as yesterday my OH made me do DIY from the second I woke up until about 7pm. We went out to a friend's bands gig after that, so didn't have time to do any flying! We did put up a massive picture on the wall that he'd ordered and put up some new cupboards, bookcases and rearrange things, so that's a bit of flying!

I had a few drinks last night, but didn't cross over the 'merry' threshold, so I feel OK this morning. My OH, however, had about 5 or 6 pints (he's not a big drinker normally) so is nursing a huge hangover and hasn't got out of bed yet! I need to dry my hair before I go out, so I'm about to wake him up! :D

Valli you still make me laugh. The only trouble with having baby due beginning September is that DS was born in June 2006 so he’s due to start “big school” the same week baby is due.
Pigpen You’re right-Im 5+3 today (so not quite 6 weeks yet) my dates were a bit out-just saw dr for mw referral and she looked at my temping charts....so EDD 2 September
Thank you for all the other welcome homes and congratulations. Im off back out to do a bit of shopping and will do the chest of drawers and nightstand when I get back. Need to find something to keep some newspaper in in the bedroom-when I did the windows I notice we have a bit of mold starting. So I obviously need to dry the windows better than I have been with a rag:eek:
I also put the dishwasher on a clean cycle have done a load of washing. Makes note of what page my list is on

hex greenbee grateful I can't remember who had wet wood but DH always puts ours on top of the woodburner to dry out before it goes in. Saying that he built a new wood store last month and the wood in there is amazingly dry. A tarp and some stones on top are keeping it dry. I spent the Christmas money on fuel :)

gratefulforhelp I am rationing our oil as it is getting dangerously low here. The lorry would never get here to deliver either.

polkadot I had a baby due the week DS1 started school so I managed to get the governors to let him start a term early.
I did have one already there and an in between one too. But governors would not agree to allow early start for child's benefit it had to be for my benefit. As I had bad asthma at the time they let him start in September instead of Easter. It is early days yet but maybe worth thinking about so transition is easier.

Still haven't started flying yet as DS3 got stuck in the snow. The car grounded and I had to phone round loads of people to find someone with a Land Rover to rescue him.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
