Piggers, I cannot be seen in public until my facial disfigurement has gone....coldsore mouth, what with the lank hair, the pale face, the dark eyes and the scabby lips, I look like I've got the plague...:D:eek:

Plus I can't open my mouth up much because it splits my lip sores...mmm lovely eh?:o

When I've healed I'll come out.

May go for a drive, with a balaclava on so I don't scare children.:rotfl:

Flying I've done some washing and drying.

So excited, was lying in bed last night and thinking about my old primary school that I went to in the Middle East when I was little, and decided to google it today. Turned out they are creating an allumni society so I've just sent them my registration form. Will be really nice to hear how anyone I knew then is now, cos I still remember them as 8-years-old! The school are doing fantastically now and have even added a secondary part and 6th form in 1999. Unfortunately they don't seem to have any primary jobs going there at the moment though. lol

Have also made a mess in the kitchen this avo cos I made some carrot and coriander soup for lunch and tried out my new stick blender that OH got me for Christmas as my last cheapy Lidl one died. Need to go and clear everything up properly now, so who is up for a HHC 3-3.30?

PS I was very impressed with the new hairdryer I bought the other day, as it dried my hair and styled it in just 5 minutes!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

The phone rang, delivery company we will be there in 20 minutes, panic ran upstairs to ask DP what to do & the door bell went....was the people to collect the old ones! She forgot to take my number. Saved by the bell, old ones out, floor vacuumed as wagon pulled in behind them with the new ones on. Unsure about them still, it's a corner suite & just looks so big, but as always worry over nothing.

Toots yes thanks DS1 is a little calmer today, thank goodness!!

Off to see how comfy my new sofas are x x x
One day I might be more organised...........

I'm watching The Mirror Crack'd on ITV for some reason - enjoying it tho!

Have been devising a nice New Year's Eve menu for one for me tomorrow evening.

Decided on sausages, mash and red wine onion gravy followed by lemon cream and shortbread biscuits. I am off the make the cream in a little while to use up some lemons and then make the shortbread tomorrow.

Also found a recipe for HM digestives too to use up the spelt flour I have in the cupboard squirreled away never to be used! Soda Bread and digestives here we come!

Was going to go walking tomorrow but the snow has arrived again and I'm not driving down the peak district roads feeling scared in those conditions on my own.

New plan is to go shopping and then bake some goodies and have a little tipple in the warm later on and for the first time in a long time, probably go to bed early and then abstain from alcohol for Jan.

Off to find my list now..........
