Nopot2 - Hope your friends dad is OK

    Thanks Diva...
They did come down last night in the end...
He was having difficulty breathing...so has had some fluid drained, and going for an xray today.
I think he is in the best place now, as he was very uncomfortable before.

If your tariff is eligible for it, sign up for their new smart energy thingy where you submit monthly meter readings and get billed accurately each month. If it isn't eligible, give them monthly meter readings anyway (the system can cope with it :D just...) so at least you know that any updates are accurate.

Oh right... I didn't know you could do this :o
I dont have a bill as such, as I just do the standard DD thing...
I might have to look further into this.. Thanks greenbee :D

    Right!!!

So far today I have s&s the bathroom, shined my sink and washed the kitchen window (this time of year it needs doing every day at the cat paw prints are all over it), i have also inputted all my Rainbows data onto their data base, I have been putting it off since August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And in the end it was so easy to do it was daft!!!!

    Next I will
    1) hoover
    2) start to sort out boxes in study
    3) shred and file, shred and file
    4) tidy wardrobe and get rid of clothes that don't fit
    5) put charity bags into the garage
    6) change our bed
    7) change DDs bed
    8) regroup with a coffee!!

    off I go then...................
    :T:T:T:T:T
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

I feel like I have been sitting working for hours so am having a quick peek on here to see what everyone else is up to. Going to the cinema with OH later to get me away from working for a while. I am doing the work stuff cos that seems easier and I will feel better if I finish one thing rather than trying to do everything.

Well, the aga is now a thing of great beauty, nearly clean enough to cook on! Cor the filth!

    eta

greenbee I went bonkers and bought aga enamel and chrome cleaner, though it has lasted forever.

polkadot DD1 started school 2 days after DD2 was born. She coped fine, and in a way each upheaval took her mind off the other. Also I was at home for her (on maternity leave from full time job) and I could sleep in the day with DD2 as DD1 was at school. So not all bad.

    lil_me new sofas, lucky you.

rosepink you can get teeny tiny and cheap dehumidifiers for cupboards, failing that, what about begging silica gel sachets from anyone you know with a handbag/shoe habit, and keeping them in there?

Thanks for all the oil/warmth vibes, they are delivering tomorrow, and I have begged them to come here early on.

and...soappie are you getting published? You clever, clever flylady. Bravo!

Here's the link but be careful you don't change tariffs if yours isn't eligible without checking for penalties. It might be worth working out your annual consumption and doing a check around if you don't have any penalties to pay for changing tariff.

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.
