Welcome to you Koolkid. I've only been here a week but everyone is so friendly.
Here's tomorrow's jobs:
My Daily Jobs:
Unload dishwasher and put away (if run last night)
Unload washing machine
Put away dry clothing hanging up / put in ironing basket
Hang up wet washing
Do ironing
Check for typing
Make beds
Sort out load for washing machine, load up and set timer
Feed and walk Pip
What's for Dinner: who knows!
Plus:
Ironing
Pack DD's PE bag
Clean off school coat if needed (only washed it 3 days ago but her big cousin dared her 25p she wouldn't roll down a steep hill ..... she won her 25p  )
Typing
Make a start on shopping list
I want to go to church tomorrow evening so need to make sure everything is up together for school during the daytime and her uniform is all ready.
Off to bed in a bit - goodnight all!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Juliejim - I totally sympathise with the no heating. And no, I'm not going to send you my Typhoo Monkey beanie hat - I will need it if mine breaks down again
- hope you manage to get it fixed soon. My tip is go to Asda and buy up loads of their £2.00 hot water bottles!
Valli - I would put the parking savings in a tin and then wait until it has accummulated enough to buy a big box of fancy, expensive chocolates to replace all that extra energy you used up walking that bit further
A fruitful day. I have decluttered 2.5 more blokes from my head and rough drafts into the finals stages of landing into print. I'm finding it's getting easier as I do more of them.
Decluttered a melolin dressing and some micropore tape onto NN's foot and left her fresh supplies. She managed to spill some hot fat from her roast potatoes tin last night onto her foot and she has a lovely blistered burn there. She called me for advice so I went over with my first aid kit. I've told her to keep it dressed NOT pop the blister and to make sure she wraps her foot in a plastic bag before she gets in the shower in the morning.
But the burn is quite big and there's a lot of fluid so I'm quietly concerned. I'll call her in the morning to see how it is and if there's any sign of infection, I'll run her down to the newly opened drop in medical centre just round the corner. That is SUCH a handy facility!
Went to DiL's parents for dinner tonight. DD drove me and I was scared! I'm not a good passenger at the best of times and the road outside the house was really icy as I stepped on it and the rest of the roads on the journey didn't look too good. But, the food was delicious. Persian slow roast lamb is to die for! And we got back safely.
I'm now fretting slightly as she's just decided to drive to her bloke's for the night (he mixes cocktails in a bar and they've been let home early because it's dead quiet). I've told her to text me when she gets there!
We have sub zero temps forecast for tonight again so there'll doubtless be chaos and carnage on the roads again in the morning. The main dual carriageway into town was closed for several hours this morning because of accidents caused by ice. But, no snow!
Anyway, I'm rambling - probably because I'm in writer mode!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thrifty.. that is why we are here.. to whip you into doing hovelwork and to lend a friendly (or not so in my case
) listening ear and a biiiig set of shoulders to cry on or hold you up.. whatever you need.
off to find and update a rather uninteresting fairly static spreadsheet.. Got my statement through from the loan company today.. KH is paying that.. but the balance is still about £1000 more than I though it was.. but I am not dealing with that so it is not my concern.. at the moment.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
