Morning guys! Back to work for me tomorrow, after my week off, so I will make a real effort to keep flying! Today will be a S&S where needed and a hoover through, plus the usual WM and DW usage.

I'm also going to take down the Christmas decs today, sort out and declutter the ones that I deemed not good enough to put out this year - if they were not good enough for this year, they probably aren't good enough for any year, so can go! Then need to [STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] persuade OH to take the remaining ones back into the loft.

Hope you all have a good day x

I've cried my eyes out at the ending of Casualty, which is stupid cos I've never watched it before and don't intend to again, but I couldn't cope with the ending (won't spoil it if you are watching it later).

Me too. I know it's not real (and not a patch on ER) but it was very sad. I'm not after sympathy (so no hugs please, you'll set me off again), but it took me back two years. Completely different situation, but same outcome. Haven't cried like that for a while.

Flying-wise, I'm doing the dreaded filing. You know it's bad when the filing tray overbalances and tips on the floor. And then when you start looking through it and find things dated August last year :o Must work on this more often!

Hope everyone is OK? Hugs to those who need one (or more). I'm off horseriding this morning - most likely will come back like a very frozen thing!

Take care, have a good day

  • Phew - I too managed to complete my chores pre 2010 but have not been overly active on here since today! Studies, work (on NYE too) and family all took centre stage! Loving 2010 already and the cleaner house - the work the kids and I did to get it this way inspired my OH to clear out his wardrobe too!!! Major improvement in space and I think he get it now!

    DONE!
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Welcome to you Koolkid. I've only been here a week but everyone is so friendly.

    Here's tomorrow's jobs:

    My Daily Jobs:
Unload dishwasher and put away (if run last night) - not run
    [STRIKE]Unload washing machine
Put away dry clothing hanging up / put in ironing basket
    Hang up wet washing[/STRIKE]
    Do ironing
    Check for typing
Make beds - done the kids but DH is still asleep
[STRIKE]Sort out load for washing machine, load up and set timer [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Feed[/STRIKE] and walk Pip
    What's for Dinner: who knows!

    Plus:
    Ironing
    [STRIKE]Pack DD's PE bag[/STRIKE]
Clean off school coat if needed (only washed it 3 days ago but her big cousin dared her 25p she wouldn't roll down a steep hill ..... she won her 25p  )
    Typing
Make a start on shopping list

I want to go to church tomorrow evening so need to make sure everything is up together for school during the daytime and her uniform is all ready.

Off to bed in a bit - goodnight all!

Going to need encouragement with this today so hope you don't mind if I post little bits as I do them. Too late to bed, didn't get to sleep easily, had bad dreams and was awake at 5 for about 45 mins and then DS woke too early so had to settle him and then grabbed another 45 mins before both woke up. All this doesn't make for a very efficient mum but I'll do my best!

Next up: change DS's nappy and get kids dressed then breakfast. At the moment DD has pinched my warm winter dressing gown as hers is in the wash so I'm looking very lovely in my PJs, summer dressing gown and body warmer on top - do you think it'll catch on?!!!!

I'm not sending you a hug but am sending you a cyber flask of :coffee: to drink when you finish your ride instead! Have a lovely time; I used to have a horse and know well just how cold it can be - I used to wear so many layers it would be hard to bend my legs enough to get on the horse !!! Have a lovely time.

    Morning gang,

Tis very cold and icy here this morning.

House isn't in bad shape either. I had a quick whizz round last night before I went too bed.:D

The plan for today is to Ebay an item an hour, or more if I feel like it, throughout the day. Rather than leave it all til the last minute like I did yesterday.

    Off on a list hunt..................

Thanks! I think I'm going to need it....and I'm on a plodder this morning...sadly I don't have my own horse, but there's a good riding school five minutes from here. The sun's just coming up and it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day (just a bit cold!).
