  • Morning all. GnB I didn't realise your LO was long term poorly. Hope she had a good day.

Up late, last day of holiday for all family except me, tree is coming down today, it was really expensive, but has been brilliant, could stay up another two weeks if we wanted it.

    Washing on, again.

I guess we are all having problems with the snow. OH had to abandon the car and walk home last night. Instead of gritting the hill at the end of our road they just closed the road off  the gritters were out because I saw them on my run and we are on the main bus route to Edinburgh!

OHs brother is annoying us now and OH is struggling to be civil. He is even making lunch really early so he can get rid of him!

    Morning All

Well so far this morning I've had a shower and showered the kids - they hate showers but that's electric so it works:rolleyes: - then cuddled them up in towels and sent them downstairs to get ready in front of the fire. Other than that I've finished my book - The Gift by Cecilia Ahern - and baked a banana cake as that's what DD wanted for her birthday cake. I bought a chocolate cake from Mr As yesterday and she had that as a birthday cake yesterday as my nephews were coming over and one of them doesn't like jam or cream and doesn't like bananas! Her choice of birthday cake was banana cake with chocolate on top - same as last year - saves me some money as I don't have to buy one with Hannah Montana or suchlike on!

Jinks - hope you have a wonderful day today.

Going out in about half an hour to KFC then the panto so won't be getting much done today.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
