Hi all been busy here at Triker towers.

    Collectively we've...

    cleaned kitchen

    DW X 4
    Decluttered loads

    cleaned bathroom

OH has put a new curtain rail up on the bay window **cue much cursing** but its done.:D

OH and DD2 have built 2 metal sets of shelves for the bathroom and landing, 1 bedside cabinet and a pan stand.:D

DD1 has taken all the decorations down and put them away neatly in boxes, we have to get them in the loft tomorrow.:D

I've decluttered loads of paper, boxes, bags, plastic crapola to the bin.

Plus decanted biscuits and chocs into one tin so not scattered everywhere.

**All hail to online shopping** :j rest of DD2's uniform came today courtesy of M AND S and it all fits so 3 pairs of trousers, 3 shirts and a jumper...done.:j No crowds to tackle or be traumatised by....love it.

Made a sausage meat pie tonight and a vegetable bake.....the sausage pie was retch-tastic so we all left it....never again..._pale_:naughty::eek: truly, truly awful.

I also bought a couple of pieces of emma bridgewater pottery in the sale, the pan stand, a large trivet, the bathroom stands and a steamer pan set. All very cheap/reduced or sale items.

Also got the meat ready for tomorrows tea, going to slowcook that in a mo and the makings of a lasagna for in the week.

I walked outside twice without my stick today and then of course went and bluddy pushed myself too far by going out to the local shop in the snow for some milk tonight.:cool:

Tomorrow I'm supposed to get myself another silkie or maybe a silver laced wyandotte...not sure yet.:happylove:heartpuls:smileyhea luuuurrrrvvvve dem chickens....:rotfl:

Toots, please be hyper careful, sounds really treacherous where you are.

I heard on radio 2 traffic reports earlier that most of the major routes were completely gridlocked with tailbacks stretching for many, many miles and bad weather too....glad we didn't go to Scotland for new year now. Just sounded horrendous.

Wow, something amazing has just happened - I actually got out my cheque book and have written cheques for what I need to pay for DD's school dinners and fruit, put them in a named envelope and they're in her school bag. Normally I'm charging around trying to get it sorted on Monday morning before we go to school, but now it's all done for the whole term.

Need to lie down quietly in a dark corner ..... feeling strange

Triker - sounds like you've achieved lots, but you've been shopping again :naughty::naughty:. I sure you've got some bargains, but I hope you've been ebaying to pay for them (and to declutter to make space for them!). I'm sure the shelving (and the pan stand ;)) will make life much more organised. And please try to pace yourself!!!

Must stop hanging around here wasting time... off to check the fire, switch off the SC and make my hot water bottles...

ETA - froddy - have replied re. walks on FB... once we've worked things out we should probably put them on here too (at weekends, so the discussion is in chat time!) so anyone else who is interested can get in touch.

I think you need to request to join on facebook - Toots isn't on there, the group is run by Lil_me and pigpen.

greenbee - i was thinking exactly the same about wasting time on here! I will now go and sort out the spag bol into portions, take the vitamin I forgot earlier and get myself to bed to read.

DH is playing stupid ps3 games but I can't really complain as he's done more than his fair share today. Plan to get up reasonably early tomorrow as I want to make soup before heading off to church. Then I plan to finish my list quickly and put my feet up.
