Have grated all the cheese that I can to freeze. I have some nice stuff with chilli in which I thought I would freeze until I need to make a white sauce but I need to know what can I do with a piece of stilton with apricots and a piece of wensleydale with cranberries as I can see they wont be eaten just as cheese. Any ideas please.

I just put this on the storecupboard challenge, as well...

What about this LINKY for a sweeter than normal bread stick
I would omit the paprika, and mabe add a wee bit of icing or caster sugar.

hmm not sur what to do next, OH is playing a very noisy PC game tho' so that is motivating me not to sit in the study and to go and do 'something'
Ah that's what those games are useful for, getting wives to leave the room and do flying

So bearing that in mind Ive decided it will be Babysteps for me this year (flylady style!) in everything I do but with a focussed goal.....Im thinking of another move. To London this time. But need to work everything out first and develop my plan around that. Day to day it may seem that nothing is changing but when I look back a year from now, it will hopefully be very different!!

How about moving to Guildford? :D

Bit OT but has anyone ever taken 2 contraceptive pill packets after each other without a break and not had a period? I am getting quite worried as AF has not appeared yet and I do not want another baby. Hope I havent offended anyone who may be TTC but am just worried and needed to offload a bit.
I'm on a single hormone one and haven't had AF since Sept 07. it used to panic me no end and I kept taking tests but it doesn't worry me any more

Diva, I love your siggy, it’s so true. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything - I've borrowed it for my FB status, I hope you don't mind. Can I borrow it for my siggy too?

Mumof2 hugs, if you love each other still that’s a good place to be and you can work on things xx

Tilli-tot well done on doing all those things without thinking! I’ve been trying to that too, not make a journey from one room to another empty handed – always take something to put away/throw away/clean up

Hugs Grateful hope you are better soon

My Dad and sister have flu and my disable Mum is looking after them. Ouch!

This is the longest post ever and I've not even read any of today's yet! I was feeling really low today but feel a bit better this evening. Had to cancel going to a chocolate party this evening, but on the plus side as it was sunny I got DH to take me out for a drive this afternoon and we went to Mr S and got a slice of chocolate truffle cake - yum, although the sponge was a bit dry. But it was still yum!

Ok, going to read what you've been doing today now!

Kazm pleased he got home ok, what about http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/roastedbutternutsqua_88207.shtml maybe, there was a bread one but remembered you on GF, http://www.uttertrivia.com/pumpkinstiltonsoup.php just stick the words & recipe in google sure you will find more. I'd freeze them to use later, no need to grate them, as there are recipes for them. Well done on the CB hash I don't usually just 'eat' it either but love it in things like that.
greenbee we have plastics recycling here, with the chicken carcasses etc I usually put them straight in the outside bin...when it's empty. I got loads of biodegradable bags homebase were selling off which are coming in handy at the mo but they might have degraded by the time ours are emptied **strop** I am not 100% ethical/green but I try to do some stuff towards a better life.

Hex and toochosey thanks, both worked, DS1s fave & I need to do something to make him feel better about being @ school on his birthday :D he does want to see Avatar too

More stuff decluttered, mix match of cereal now in a pot so I could get rid of the boxes, dog taken onto small field behind the house while kids played in garden....he didn't want to stay out long anyway he was shivering the wuss. Misted the chameleon & he hissed at me as I caught him with the spray, how cute he is when annoyed :rotfl: it's like a little inflatted belly pffff cute...think he didn't like that

I'd found DSs school bags, sorted them but someones moved them grrr so will have to find those again for Monday (if they go) DPs braving it but keeps phoning me to moan as the heaters keep going off in the cab, I told him not to go so why moan at me? His boss is buying a new one, but it won't arrive until March which was DPs idea as that is when his needs testing again, pre ordering needed as they get all adaptations done etc. Men, moaners...

Still another load or at least part load needed for DW, the WM also needs reloading so some TV then a little more work before bed me thinks...
One day I might be more organised...........

Ended up with another 2 rounds of visitors and 1 lot ended up staying for tea and left at 7.20 so kids have only just been decluttered to bed. Off to bed myself shortly and then that will save having the fire on until the morning. Only thing is that DD was going to be brining 3 of her friends back here with her after the pantomine tomorrow but we're now thinking it might be too cold for them to go and play upstairs so I'm not sure what'll happen - I didn't really want to have to spend more money by taking them to a play area or something.

Kaz he's only about 5 inches of body, the rests all tail and his mouth is small so he's not the slightest bit as scary as he thinks he is with his little pffff, but if looks could kill :rotfl: it was the sheer disgust that I'd had the nerve to wet him by accident just before bed time
juliejim maybe explain to the parents and have them over another time? I am sure it's the last thing you need to worry about at the minute.

WM just finished, think I will leave it for the night as there is a queue to get in the TD, using all the radiators we have too. DP said I needed one of those supersize washers but the problem is I'd need a matching drier. I need to find out why mine is squeeking, the bearings must be going or something as it's really noisy. Going to sort/declutter the fridge to help with my meal plan/shopping list, see you inspired me Kaz :)

The idea was that we're taking them to see the pantomine and then they were coming back here so that they'd got chance to actually play together so we'd still be going to the panto but DD really wants to be able to spend some time actually playing with them as well as obviously this was instead of her having a party.

Rosepink you are so right about the noisy PC games, I don't mind if I am just surfing but when I am trying to work they really do my head in!!

Good news DD has just texted to say she may have got some casual bar work for the next few weeks, she has just come back home to live and not found a job yet so that is GOOD news. She has had a serious case of the CBA but hopefully this will give her the boot up the !!!! she needs as she is a pain in the !!!! atm :)

well my whole list is done except for the car as it is dark and I don't think my neighbours would appreciate me hoovering outside their front window right now, so I will put that at the top of my list for tomorrow, off to re boot the laundry (done 5 loads today TD is crying out for a rest!!(LOL)

Then I think it's time I went to bed, I seem to have been on the go all day on and off!! I guess that all of the things that happened that didn't make it to the list (cooking, washing up, giving DD a lift into town ETC ETC) filled my day

    Night all, sweet dreams
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
