Hi :j
Happy New Year!
Hoping everyone has a peaceful and successful year. Thank you for being the only thread I've stuck with because everyone is so supportive and friendly.
Welcome to all newbies.
Got to bed at 1.45am and had just dozed off when the fire alarms went off in our block of flats. So a load of bleary eyed former revellers had to wait while two fire engines and their crews checked everywhere out. False alarm!

Onward and upward!
Poppy huge squishy hugs for you - well done for coping with your first Christmas and New Year on your own - get a piece of paper and leave it handy and write down anything you think of as you go along - try to make a definate time to have a discussion with KH - even if you dont cover evrythig you can work out a few of the issues - prioritise them before you meet him. You sound like a strong lady so I think 2010 will be a start of a good life for you and your children.
Boddy I hope Mum's cold and cough go away quickly.
1 step hello lovely - thanks for asking - I am ok - I had a long lie and feel the better for it - am still breathless but learning to chill (well my version!) You are very lucky to be able to get out in the garden we still have about 5 inches of snow!! I agree with you regarding thr 1st day of the year and our expectations so like you I am doing a little and not getting stressed about it.

Mumof2 maybe not such a bad start after all - the fact that you are talking and both want to stick at it and sort it is a great way to start the year - I hope you manage to resolve your problems. xx
juliejim huge squishy (((hugs))) for you, DD and your cousins family - I am sure you will have lots of nice memories and your cousin would not want you to be sad on this the first day of a brand New Year. xx

I am going to start a spending diary I think - your reply re MSMoney has prompted me to get my spending back in line now that a lot of the major jobs have been done ( even if not paid for yet:eek:)
I also have accepted a challenge so will be keeping you company.:D:D
Dorastar I am please to see you and the other teachers are getting a little planning etc done - you dont want to leave it until the night before - coooooooooo eeeeeeeeeeeeee Mrs Chaos are you listening!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Courgette well done so far - this week's list are a wee bit different because of the hols - a new thread starts on Sunday and it gives us MOndays list and you get tuesdays on monday evening etc etc we dont always have a weekend list. Even if you just aim to complete level 1 everyday when you go back to work plus any extra bits I bet you will find a difference - the lists give us structure:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I havent managed much today - there seems to be endless phone calls and texts - I hadnt really planned on doing much so its not a problem in the grand scheme of things.
I may not come back on tonight as I am going to get comfy with Daniel and Tom:D:D
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Good evening everyone  Plans for the weekend have changed  The friends we were to be visiting are poorly, so not having visitors
However, the friends who were coming to The North and staying with the poorly friends (please keep up, there'll be a test on this later
) are still coming, so we're meeting them for lunch tomorrow before they head back to The South :j
