    Better have a venture into the loft and see because it is from the ceiling down

    If there's no obvious breach there, how about a missing brick or some broken pointing on the outside?
    Good luck with your new jobs Soappie - all the best in this regard - I don't think I would mind cleaning now for a few hours a week and take pride in how it looked and how much easier and better it got each week and cleaner and shinier :D

    Thank you!

    Back to the Italian Job.... it is flylady related after all - they declutter a few million pounds :rotfl:

    I'm getting there. Midway through the budget/meal plan, this is taking absolutely forever. I did manage to get my NY resolution of paying noone an interest/credit charge off to a good start. Went to get the DW emptied and refilled again, I am pleased I did as I had left a ring on, was only low but phew that could have been a problem. I think I might grab some supper, then carry on a bit. I need to get the dining room floor vacuumed before the boys go to sleep. Going to finish sorting the lizards out.
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:
    GC: £200
    Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    Happy New Year All :D:D

    Afternoon all
    Last year nephew brought his GF and mum asked her
    'Do you eat things or are you vegetarian?'

    sis and BIL were asked
    'Have you parked?'
    (all of us cracked up as we all had visions of floating cars tethered to the house like hot-air balloons!)

    and a L-O-N-G conversation about carrot cakes as the GF didn't know they had carrots in. She still doesn't believe me about cheese in cheesecake either.

    Wonder what the afternoon/evening will bring?
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    It sounds like it might be a bit like THIS :p:rotfl:

    I just had soup - carrot/leek/potato one of my favourites - I'm having more soup in 2010

    I love passion cake - I'm having more cake in 2010

    Yes... more soup for me too in 2010 :D
    But I think I am going to have to do less cake in 2010 :(

    Speaking of cake....
    Soappie.... the pineapple upside down cake was a mega success, and very yummy :drool: Thanks for the recipe :D

    Oh... and I also lurve carrot cake :drool:
    I make a cracking chocolate and courgette cake....

    Speaking of Courgette...... Welcome :wave:
    I ran out of vaccuum cleaner lead before I reached the stairs and so I figured that was gods way of telling me I had done enough :rolleyes:

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
    I do believe that I need to practise my plug fitting skills now...
    By cutting the flex on hoover in half... then refitting the plug
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D

    I have done NO flying today... but then, I did have to work. :(
    I may have done some of todays list earlier in the week... so I'm off to find my list and will update. :D
