OH and his brother have just left for the home and the last thing on my mind is ironing. I am doing the next best thing and having some time to myself as I seem to have been doing things for others for what seems like forever. We bought a new hi-fi yesterday (were using the PC before that) and I treated myself to the new Michael Buble album so I am sitting enjoying that while surfing on here. (my studying can wait )

    Extras
    1. HHI
    Extras
    1. HHI.. or more for those trying to complete the challenge!
OPTIONAL LIST FOR THE MASOCHISTS AMONG US!
    1. [STRIKE]Tidy a cupboard or 10 of your choosing![/STRIKE]
    2. [STRIKE]Run appliances through a clean cycle.. degunk filters etc[/STRIKE]
    3. [STRIKE]List 5 things on ebay/freecycle/amazon.. wherever[/STRIKE] I have substituted filling 2 charity bags
I have the WM on a clean cycle and have decided that the decluttering I did in the spare room this morning more than makes up for a cupboard or 10. Maybe the ironing will do itself.

I hope everyone else is enjoying the new year.

  • Off to put away the products of Toots' ironing challenge in a moment.

Thought I would throw in that I like carrot cake, too, with cardamom and buttercream icing. Yum.

    Welcome Courgette

Have no idea what I'm going to cook for dinner. Don't know what I fancy to be honest. I might just use up some bacon in the fridge with pasta and tomatoes.

... now, do I put it towards the garden... or spend it on something more exciting... jewellery maybe? or a picture?

I've made a deal with myself about the kenwood... I can get one when I have enough space for it in the utility room. So realistically that won't be until the new shed is in place (which given the speed at which both the landscaper and my builder move, will be in about 2020!)... maybe I should just move house.

garden every time for me :D Do you want to commission a dove cote or a bespoke black smithed sculpture by any chance? If so I know a man who can! Just needs to finish my stuff first :p

Same for me re the Kenwood. I want one so very much but I have nowhere to put it and quite honestly cannot justify it when we need so many other things.

WM is on a cleaning cycle, TD has childrens bedding in. I will get this place straight before I go back to work next week .

Dusty - I just sprayed my computer screen with red wine. Pest :rotfl:
