Been out for a walk and for DS to spend some Christmas money - he bought a long handled brush & dustpan set because it was just what he wanted!! He's 7 and obviously my child - he likes cleaning...:D :j
Right listy-poo, 'tis a bit shorter...
1. Tidy a cupboard or 10 of your choosing!
2. Run appliances through a clean cycle.. degunk filters etc too
3. Budget and meal plan for next month.. most of us will be a little strapped for cash.
4. wash any grotty windows so you can see out.. and light can get in!
5. Vacuum a neglected floor!
6. List 5 things on ebay/freecycle/amazon.. wherever
7. 15 minutes filing/shredding
Soup is cooking, another couple of washing loads done (have wet stuff draped around as alternative decorations) and now decluttering ends of port, lemonade & cheesy biscuit thingys....shredding next I think..
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -

One load of washing in and a few bits tidied in the utility room (to make space for stuff being evicted from elsewhere ). I now know I need to order more washing up liquid, laundry liquid, washing powder & vinegar. I don't use much of the laundry liquid and washing powder, as I mostly use soapnuts, but I need some for the hotter washes. I'm running low on floor cleaner too, but I can use surface cleaner for that.
Suppose I'd better go and move a few more things around... I might try to clear the kitchen surfaces, then maybe tidy the sitting room. Neither of them are too bad, so I could then get the downstairs floors done, and although they probably need a dust & wipe, the worst will be done. Tree needs to come down this weekend too... Do you think I could dry it out and use it as kindling

right bracing myself to tackle under the stairs.....not as bad as it sounds as the staircase is open plan but the space underneath tends to end up as a bit of a dumping ground-mostly for my school stuff LOL but Sunday is going to be my get ready for school dayGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU
I wish health and happiness to all of you for 2010.
Was up til 3am this morning and been cooking lunch all morning. DS is still in bed and DD ate said lunch and went back to bed  Have cleaned the oven and the shelves - am determined to keep on top of it
Am now sat down and caught up with thread and do not intend doing anything for the rest of the day
Mumof2 - So glad you and DH have managed to talk about your problems. I believe that had hubby and myself addressed our issues instead of ignoring them and sweeping them under the carpet then we would be in a totally different position today.
Mumof5 - Hoping you can resolve also
Jinky - How long you been at that laptop
Vanilla - What a way to start the day
LadyL - Continued hugs coming your way and stay strong
I really need to send KH a text as we have to sit down and discuss some important issues but I just dont know where to start
Hugs for everybody else that needs and thank you Flyladies for being instrumental in getting my house decluttered - Am so glad that I have been able to join you allI'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun
