just popping in to show my face - hope eveyone's ok.

haven't kept up with the thread for a while as we were away - then had a succession of (lovely) houseguests. got the girls to have a good clear out of their bedrooms today, and now DH has taken them out for a walk while I do more cleaning (sigh), cook dinner and prepare for next lot of visitors.

so I'm feeling bright and positive that this is going to be my shiniest, tidiest, most clutter free year ever! flap flap!

Don't worry... it wears off - they just seem to like to feel that they're keeping their options open. The good thing is you've moved on (and got a new job and asbo-dog to deal with as well), and you can cope with it now. Much better to be happy and on your own than miserable just because you're worried about being lonely. That said, for those having problems at the moment, if you can talk and try to resolve things its better to give it a go - if you do end up going your separate ways hopefully it will be less painful.

Lay in bed reading so didn't get up till 2pm :o. Pity, as it's a lovely sunny day, but then I know part of the reason I didn't bother is because the house is somewhat chaotic and has been since I got back after christmas... so... plan of action is to start in the least bad bit and work my way through over the weekend (I have visitors next weekend).

Off to shower and then decide whether to pop out briefly for a change of scene before getting down to the hard work. A bit of a blitz with cleaning and decluttering will get the new year off to a good start.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
